Chapter 1

Dean was having breakfast at Win's house. Nauto kasi syang magsundo dahil sira ang sasakyan ni Win. And of course, Win's parents joined them.

"Win, napag-isipan mo na ba yung sinabi namin sayo?" Win's mom asked him.

"Oh~ ma! Sinabi ko naman na sa inyo, masyado pa kong bata para dyan" Win complained "Isa pa, ni hindi ko nga kilala yung mga anak ng kaibigan nyo. Paano ko pipili sa kanila?"

"That's why we agreed to have a family dinner with them tonight" his dad informed him. "For you to get to know them"

"Sa tingin nyo ba basta na lang ako pipili ng kung sino para pakasalan?"

Dean was shocked of how the conversation turned out that he almost choked on his coffee.

"Kasal?" Dean blurted out after composing himself.

"Pinipilit nila akong magpakasal sa anak ng kaibigan nila para lang makapag-merge sila ng business" Win explained as if it was a boring topic.

"Khun Poh, Kun Mae, uso pa po ba ang arranged marriage ngayon?" Dean turned to the elders "Isa pa po, eighteen pa lang si Win. Masyado pa po yatang maaga para manira sya ng buhay ng iba"

"A'sat Dean" Win cursed at his friend's remark. He then checked his phone. "A'heeyah! Late na tayo!"

Both men sped up eating their food.

"Classes hasn't started yet, di ba?" Win's mom asked "What's the rush?"

"Kailangan po kami for club registrations" Dean answered "Alam nyo naman po sa ZU, a week before classes, dapat kumpleto na ang lists ng club members"

"I see. In that case, you boys better hurry up. We don't want you to get expelled nang hindi pa man nagsisimula ang klase"

Tinapos na nila ang pagkain at nagmamadaling lumabas ng bahay.

The two headed to their school. ZU or Zoom University is one of the most prestigious universities in Asia. It's main branch is in the Philippines.

Zoom University is just a part of a huge business empire. Zoom Empire. A business circle formed by fourteen elite families. Aside from ZU, they also own lots of other businesses in different fields. From hospitals to malls, transportation, hotels and restaurants, beauty and apparels and even entertainment business. Their most famous business ventures are those personally run by the heirs and heiress.

Not everyone can enroll at ZU. They set their own entrance exams and holds interviews before accepting students. If one fails the exam or interview, not even money can help the person get in.

The school aims to produce individuals that will make big when they step out to the real world. One of ZU's main rules is that once a student graduates, he/she could never step foot inside ZU campus again. They will be automatically banned from entering the school premises.

Pagdating sa pool area ay agad na silang nagbihis into swimming trunks and jersey raincoats. Nakapila na rin ang mga bagong freshmen na gustong mag-tryout.

And because the swimming club is quite famous in ZU, there were also some students who came just to watch.

"Okay! Since marami kayo, hahatiin namin kayo sa limang group" Win announced to them "Kung sinong mananalo sa bawat group, sya makakasali sa club"

"Isa lang sa bawat group?" someone asked "Ibig sabihin lima lang ang makukuha?"

"Hindi namin kailangan ng maraming members" Dean answered "Ang kailangan namin, magagaling"

They started the race immediately. Each group showed good performances. And the last winner of the last group is a shorty with a bit skinny body.

"Anong pangalan mo?" Win asked for his record.
