Call Your Name - Chapter 3

-THE NEXT DAY CLASS-

Rosie went into class very tidy, with her in-placed neck tie and tucked in blouse.
She's having a good vibe too early this morning.

"Jennie!" Jennie browsing her book as preparation for their lesson.
Looks agitated.

"What happen?" Putting her bag on her chair, facing Jennie.

(*Sigh) Jennie stops what she is doing and had a nervous laugh. "I'm grounded."
Looks sorry for Rosie.
"My mom wants me to come straight home after class. Sorry, I can't accompany you outside."

She wasn't expecting her to be this serious. Being grounded is normal, Rosie used to being grounded in Australia. But to Jennie, it is something new.

"Hmmm guess what......." Rosie tapping Jennie's table with her both hands.

"......Me too!" she lied, and Jennie bought it.
They both laughed so loud, it echoed in the room.

"What's the fuss over there?" Seulgi sitting on her desk table at the back.

"Hey Chaeyeong!" Wendy, sitting beside Seulgi.

Jennie and Rosie both look at their backs.

"Did you enjoy your time waiting for my boyfriend?"

"Your boyfriend? Jennie what is she saying?" Jennie scratches the back of her head.

"The one who told you to come to his party. Oh, come on Rosie, stop being dumb."
Wendy smirks and the others laugh.

She feels so stupid now. She faces the front and leans her back on her chair. Still feel ashamed of what happened, why do the whole class need to know about it.

Jennie caress her shoulder. "Rosie, are you okay?"

"And about him ditching you, I don't think he mind it." Wendy says.

The class follows with a loud laugh.

Her whole body became rigid. She cannot move or turn her head in any direction. She was only facing front.

She closes her eyes, wishing all of this wasn't true.

"Oh my! Wendy! Someone fancies your boyfriend!"
"Snake! Just like where you came from! Haha "

Jennie stops caressing her shoulder. Rosie keeping her eyes shut.
She doesn't care about it for how numb she is.

Wendy rose and sit on the table, says,

"She really didn't know it guys? What a dumb biii—"

"Actually, she didn't wait for your dumb-ass boyfriend." Jennie stands and faces them again with cross arms and an icy glare.

"We were hanging out till yesterday. We were reviewing.
She's helping me on some lectures,
I hope your non existing brain cells can sink that in."

The noise subsided quickly.

No one was trying to response after that.
Rosie open her eyes just to see Wendy get back to her seat.

For what she observed these days; They are intimidated by Jennie.
They are amazed and scared of her at the same time.
She never bothered for how noisy the classroom always is.
But ones you do something bad to her, she won't let anything through.

Jennie told Rosie once on their first day meeting, that first time she gets bullied here in school... she played hard to defeat them in wrestling matches in the gym, it became too serious. Then the second and the last time they've done it, Jennie switched their PE uniforms inside their lockers, it became chaotic they were all suspended for being late except for Jennie who made it on time. She have done it all without a trace. They only suspected her because of the smirk her face is wearing after their teacher announce their suspension.
