Let the wars begin

"Jordan is not just going to be joining the team, " coach began, "she will also be training you". A series of 'what's?! ' scattered throughout the rink. " Jordan's team won their championship games 10 years in a row, and our team really needs the help" Coach looked at me and nodded telling me that I could tell them whatever I noticed about the team. "First of all, how many of are in a friend group with people on the team? " There were 3 groups with 5 people who raised their hands along with one group with 4 people. Just like I thought. "You guys are too sloppy and too quick on your plays. Basically you guys play like girls. It's time to put on your big boy pants and play like men" They probably weren't going to like me very much by the end of the season but, it's tough love. That's what my old coach would always say. We got pushed beyond out breaking points but we lived. "Ouch that hurt" Daniel said. "You have got to be kidding me" One of the boys spoke out. "I know more about training than any of you know. Believe me. On my old team we were pushed so hard,  we had to do 30 down and backs, 50 push ups, 100 passes back and forth, and play until a team had 20 points. That was just a warm up. You guys need to be pushed and need to learn how to work as a Avery, you had the puck and people surrounded you on all sides Matthews was wide open but you decided to keep the puck which costed your team a point. You guys desperately need to learn how to play together. Like it or not, I'm the one who will be helping you do that. Practice is over for today but we will be meeting every week from 3:30-8:00. Be ready for tomorrow" They all stared at me  with blank expressions.

I skated off the ice and went to the locker room to get changed. I threw on my extra pair of sweatpants and a sweatshirt that I always brought with me to change into after practice. I walked out to my car and saw the 5 boys from the coffee shop at my car. "What are guys stalking me now? Or are you here to whine and complain about how your new practice will be so hard? " I said with a snarky look on my face. "No we are not here to complain" Daniel said. "Well actually I would like to comp-" Zach said when one of the boys cut him off by saying "Zach shut up". " We just wanted to formally introduce ourselves and welcome you to the team, " Daniel began, " As you know I'm Daniel, this is Zach Herron, Jack Avery, Jonah Marias, and Corbyn Besson". "Well it's nice to meet you all. Now I should get going, we have a big week this week" I started walking to my car but then I turned around "by the way, you should know that I know every prank in the book, and judging by the way you all decided to run out of the rink while still in your gear just to find my car when you could have talked to me inside the rink, I'd say you are going to pull the 'suran wrap around the car' prank " Once again they were all shocked. "What are you, an FBI profiler? " Daniel asked. "No I was just on an all boys hockey team for 10 years" I said "be ready for tomorrow boys, it's gonna be fun" I then drove off.  This is going to be lots of fun. I already knew what pranks I could play on them. They were obviously going to try and prank me again tomorrow so I knew I had to get them first. This prank involved a stop at the grocery store. Let's just say I'm DYEing to see their reactions.
