Emai pov.
I lace my hand with him, watching him as he writes down notes. Tobio glares at him, and I try to suppress giggles. Kei sighs.
"Tobio if you keep staring, I'm going to start thinking you have a secret crush on me," Kei says, making Tobio get extremely flustered.
"I've got not only one Kageyama sibling, but two!" Kei snorts. Kei glances up, raising an eyebrow.
"I'm not sure that I want to know, but why are you here?" He asks. Tobio sets his books down.
"Because of you dating my sister. That's weird. Especially since we're in the same club." He says, avoiding the real reason.
"And that explains why you are here because?" Kei says snarkily. Tobio sighs, exasperated.
"Because you are good at studying and my sister is forcing me to ask for help." He mutters. Kei looks at me. He looks like he wants to make a snide comment, but I plead to him silently. He softens, sighing. He pulls his bag closer, opening it.
"Which classes are you failing in right now?" He asks Tobio.
"Math, English, and biology," Tobio says, stuttering in shock. Kei pulls out three notebooks.
"Copy them down, and read them over and over, for about an hour each night." He grunts, handing him the notebooks.
"T-thanks." Tobio stutters, carefully opening the first notebook. He quietly copies down Kei's notes, easily reading his clean, neat handwriting. Kei opens his book and continues to write down notes. After about an hour of this, I start to fall asleep.
Kei pov.
Emai slumps against me, sleeping on my shoulder. I look down at her and smile softly.
"I've never seemed that sort of softness coming from you. You must really like her." Tobio notices, whispering quietly.
"Well, I've never had anyone to be soft towards. So, this is a first for me too." I say quietly, opening a book. I read silently, ignoring Tobio's watchful eyes. My brother steps into the room and examines the scene.
"Can't you ever knock?" I ask him, not looking away from my book.
"No, I can't. Mom wants to know if you guys are hungry."
"Yeah, what is she making," I ask, continuing to read.
"Spaghetti or sub sandwiches depending on your answer." Akiteru grunts.
I look up at Tobio.
"You answer," I say.
"Spaghetti?" He says. Akiteru leaves to tell our mother, and I continue to read my book.
