The place wasn't too hard to find, thanks to the large 'Grand Opening' sign above the double doors. As soon as they found a place to park, Steve quickly jumps out of the car and ran to the sidewalk, rocking on his feet with a wide grin.

"Excited?" Billy asked, a smile growing on his face too as he stepped up next to the smaller boy, walking over to the door and holding it for him.

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be? Food's fucking amazing!" He laughed, looking around the place for somewhere to sit. It had pastel blue walls with white stripes, blue hydrangeas in vases on every table. The waiters were actually patient and nice, unlike all of the previous homophobic bitches that would just glare at Steve until he left.

Billy let a small laugh escape his lips as he followed the boy to a table next to the window, a grin plastered onto his face as he sat down.

"What's with the stupid smile, Hargrove?" He asked as he furrowed his eyebrows, running a swift hand through his hair and tapping his foot against the wooden floors of the place.

"Nothing." Billy lied, a growing smirk on his face telling Steve that he was up to something idiotic.

"Oh, what a long ass day that was!" The blonde exclaimed, falling back onto the couch right next to Steve. Billy beamed, making the younger boy  roll his eyes.

"I know you're planning something, you bitch." He muttered, leaning his head onto Billy's shoulder and huff in annoyance when he told him to 'wait for the surprise'.

"Just wait." The older male said simply, shrugging as he flipped through TV shows and finally stopped at a random game show he knew absolutely nothing about.

"Just wait," Steve mocked, closing his eyes for a second, "Just wait for what, Hargrove? Tell me already, you fucker!"

"Wait. I'll tell you later." Billy mumbled, the smirk only growing wider on his face as he looked over at a clearly pissed off Steve.

Steve obviously hated surprises, from big gifts to tiny boxes that contained nothing but small pearl bracelets.

Soon enough, it was finally time for the 'surprise'. The two sat on the couch in almost silence, besides the birds outside.

     "Okay, fine."

The brunette grinned and turned towards him, "So, what is it?"

     "I..forgot." Billy joked.

"So I've been waiting all that time and you forgot?"

     "No, I was jokin'!"

     "Okay, good."

(I'm really sorry about how short this is and that I haven't been able to update! I'm not lazy but I don't think I'm the writing type, even though I love to do it.)
