Wind

The wind roared as it passed through the forest. Once it hit the small hidden town, everyone could feel the pressure hold onto the walls that surrounded them. Omegas crowded on the chairs and couches, watching the Alphas as they stood around the omegas. Carrying on a conversation as if nothing was wrong outside. They'd gotten a warning form outside their camp, that a huge wind storm was going to tumble over them. Normally the trees would protect the wind, and slow it down.

It was different this time, the energy was different. That's what one Omega thought at least. She stood by the window, watching leaves and branches fly past. She never played by the rules, she hated how they treated her for being an Omega.

"Noi! Sit down with the rest of the omegas, something might bust through." 'There it was', Noi thought. An Alpha trying to boss her around again.

"I'll sit down when I'm tired of standing, thank you very much." The alpha growled, starting to march over to the girl. Zane, another alpha, stepped in between the two.

"Chase settle down, she's not worth getting all pissy over." Chase growled, turning around joining their small group again. Zane turned to Noi's small form, slowly inching closer.

"You really need to control that temper of yours. You get it from your mother." Noi turned her head towards Zane. Showing her bright, but red stained teeth.

"Don't speak about my mother." Noi spoke with hatred and anger.

"Damn, sorry." Zane never knew what happened to Noi's parents. He'd always heard stories about them, but not how they disappeared.

The storm started to slow down, Noi looked closer in the darkness made from the clouds.

"Hey, Zane. Do you see that?" Noi pointed towards the figure. Its glowing eyes staring into Noi's soul.

"Yes. I'll tell Jackson about that.." Zane's voice was low, but Noi could sense the uneasy in it. The figure ran off into the darkness. Zane walked off after tapping Noi's shoulder.

"Who or what was that..?" Noi asked herself.
