christmas ~ namjoon

"y/n, are you almost ready?" you heard Namjoons muffled voice from outside the bedroom door. 

"One second" you called out. You quickly grabbed your fluffy leather jacket from the hanger that was aside the bedroom door.

You opened the door already having the jacket on to see Namjoons light purple hair all messed up. You slightly groaned and tried to fix it so it wouldn't cover his eyes as much since you knew how clumsy he was.

"Why?" he sighed tiredly referring to the fact that you were brushing his hair back.

"So you won't fall dummy" You replied lightly punched his arm once you were finished. "Lets go"

You lightly and quickly gave him a peck on the cheek. You tried to walk away but he quickly grabbed your wrist before you could and pulled you in close. Before you could do anything he kissed you softly making you smile slightly into it.

You could feel your cheeks heat up as he pulled away. Once he saw your slightly pink cheeks he smiled making his dimples that you adored so much show.

"Should I bring my glasses?" He asked once ya'll were about to leave. You turned to him and said,

"It's your choice, I don't really mind. They do look cute on you"

You said the last part quietly but either way he heard you so he quickly grabbed his glasses that were on the coffee table and placed them on.

"Please don't break them this time" you said making Namjoon give you a sarcastic look. "You broke them last year"

"That was not my fault, it was Jimin!"

"How?"

You and Namjoon were walking down the sidewalk near the houses to see the Christmas lights since this has always a tradition for you and Namjoon.

Last year ya'll did it with the whole band but ya'll liked it more when we were alone and more quiet.

You and him were holding hands and you could feel yourself shiver more and more as the time passed. You didn't grow up in a cold climate since you lived more south (sorry if you live more up north) so you weren't used to cold temperatures.

You guessed Namjoon could also feel you shiver since he asked

"You want my coat?"

"I already have jacket" you said mentioning the leather jacket you were wearing.

"Yeah but mine is better. You want to trade?" He asked now stopping his tracks making you stop your tracks as well.

"I guess"

You and him traded and you were feeling much more warmer than when you had the leather one on. You and him continued walking having small talks and moments that both of you cherished.

"You want to get a hot beverage? I know this really great place nearby" you mentioned sounding slightly excited.

"Sure, lead the way" he replied with a small smile making you smile.

You both arrived and you ordered (your favorite hot beverage) while Namjoon ordered a coffee. He payed for it even though you insisted for him not to and let you pay for it. He said you could pay next time even though he knows he always pays for it before you could even get a chance to get your card out.

You both got the beverages and sat at a table booth facing each other. You slowly drank it scared that it would burn your tongue instantly. Namjoon observed you for a couple of moments seeing how beautiful you looked and thinking how lucky he was to have you.

"Have I ever told you how amazing you are?" Namjoon asked making you look up at him after you set your drink down on the table. You saw how his face looked so gentle and genuine "I truly do love you" 

"How come you don't say it much" you said looking down at your beverage.

"Cause if I do it loses it's true meaning"

"You're so cheesy" you said trying to hide a smile but giving in "I love you too"

"I can't believe we've been together for 3 years" he said in disbelief. You nodded agreeing with him. You two had spent about an hour inside just talking about random things being the most comfortable around him.
