You and Light both stood outside waiting for the car to drive up and take you to your new home. You sighed wondering how you got yourself into this and where it all went wrong. Bright lights quickly took you out of your trance and you looked over at the oncoming car. A tall man stepped out of the black car and walked over to you and Light.

"Who wants to sit in the front?"
The same blonde haired man questioned, you had already forgotten his name and you'd never care to learn it again.
Light glanced over at you waiting for a response that you didn't give and wasn't going to give. The blonde haired man stood there and rolled his eyes. He opened the back door and gestures for someone to get in, you quickly walked over and sat down. He closed the door and walked over to the door in the front and opened it, looking at light, he gestured for him to get in. Light groaned and sat in the passenger seat. Tsuki walked over and sat in the driver seat.

The car ride was quiet, you listened to the sound of Light's music blasting through his earbuds. Tsuki looked very annoyed, but kept quiet and drove. You closed your eyes and sighed, maybe this wouldn't be so bad. Then you fell asleep, something you would regret.

You woke up to Tsuki dressing you and putting you in the bed. You stayed quiet, hoping he wouldn't notice you as he buttoned the last button on your pajamas. They were finely made at that. He stopped and looked up at you...yeah he noticed. His face turned bright red and he put his hands down.
"You're conscious now, do the rest."
He walked out quickly before you could say anything else. You noticed that you already had everything on, what else was there to do? You smiled to yourself and got out of the bed, noticing house slippers next to you. You slid them on and walked out of the room seeing Tsuki putting his face in his hands and letting out a large sigh.
"Psst,"
He lifted his head slowly and saw you, his face was red- but still expressionless.
"I apologize for the earlier events, I would not like to see you sleep in such uncomfortable clothing so I presumed, I, myself would dress you accordingly and hope that you woke up in the morning and not to me dressing you..."
Tsuki said, his first time ever apologizing to you.
"It's cool, you didn't rape me or anything."
The man looked flabbergasted, his eyes were as wide as they could possibly go and he shook his head.
"Please know you never have to worry about that in my house, you have the highest security anyone could ask for. I could never lay a finger on you without your consent, please dutifully note that."
You were intrigued on how,,, what was it- thoughtful he was being. You didn't believe that this was the man you used to hate, then again he might be tired.
"Are you okay..?"
"Three bottles of whiskey never hurt anyone,"
He stated quickly, as you stared at him in awe. Three bottles? No wonder he was acting so strange. You facepalmed from thinking he would be this nice without drowning himself with liquor.
"I can't smell it on your breath,"
He got closer to you and breathed out. You almost hurled and turned away quickly- you could smell it now. He jumped quickly from your reaction and grabbed your shoulders.
"Apologies...I didn't think that through!"
"Yeah I could tell!"
Light came out of the room and rubbed his eyes.

"Can you guys stop screaming?"

You woke up to the smell of food. You weren't sure what it was, but it smelled nice. You sat up slowly and stretched, then your door opened slowly.
"Good Morning, mother has prepared breakfast!" 

Light said jokingly as Tsuki walked in with a tray of (favourite breakfast foods and drink), he set it on your bedside table and left the room, he was a man of few words...or no words. Light smiled at you and followed behind the man. You ate your breakfast and got up washing your face and brushing your teeth. You put on your school uniform and walked downstairs to get your bag. Tsuki was vacuuming the floor as Light watched him, already dressed. 

"You ready?"

Light asked and you nodded. Tsuki stopped vacuuming and briskly walked to the kitchen, walking out with two bento boxes. He handed them to you and Light with a rare smile.

"Enjoy your day at school."

He said with a hum, you blushed and bowed in response as Light watched you. His eyes never looked away until you got back up.

"Thanks mom, see you later."

Tsuki cringed at the name and his smile faded as he walked away. You and Light started to walk to school as you had your bag slung around your shoulder. He looked at you and smiled, yet you never looked back at him. You knew he was staring, but you had gotten used to it at this point. To break the silence, that was very awkward to you, you looked at the bento box and smiled.

"He would really make a good mom,"

You joked and Light's face darkened at the mention of Tsuki, but then it lit back up as he nodded. You noticed and then looked away, trying to think of something else to say, but your thoughts were quickly interrupted by Light's voice.

"Have you thought about getting a boyfriend?"

You shook your head and shrugged.

"I'm kinda happy being alone, gives me time to focus on my studies and my detective job. "

Light looked at you and grabbed your hand, you tried to move it away, but his grip was tight.

"You should get one, they know how to protect you and love you."

He then let go of your hand and smiled at you. You nervously smiled back and started to walk a bit quicker than Light, all you wanted was to get to school in one piece.
