You woke up to the sound of your phone buzzing beside your bed. You groaned loudly and got off of your comfortable bed. You snatched the phone from its original place and looked at it. L was calling you. You rolled your eyes and answered.

"He-"

"oh, she answered. she is alive."

"Yeah, h-"

"I have something very important to tell you (Y/N), and I hope it'll make you happy."

"...Yeah, oka-"

" Good ok, so I called in one of your friends and they agreed to let you stay at their place and they'll take care of you. I just hate seeing you work so late. So they'll come to work with you and then take you to their place."

" Wait, I didn't agr-"

" She said yes."

You hear a faint voice in the background and then hear Light's laughing.

Please tell it's not Light I'm living with. 

" Oh, (Y/N), Light said he could live with you two too, his parents wouldn't mind. He said it might make you more comfortable."

"Haha, thanks but-"

"She said yes."

You gasped and shook your head rapidly as if L could see you.

"Nononononononononononononononononononono!!!" You screamed through the phone.

" I get it, living with two people might sound scary- but I trust one of them."

You hung up immediately. Two people you probably hardly knew? This wasn't right. You shook your head as you ran down the stairs to find breakfast waiting for you with a note. 

' We went out to buy some groceries, please make sure you eat and have a great day honey! We miss you.'

You smile and sit down as you start eating your, now lukewarm, pancakes and eggs.

You finish eating clean off your dishes, then start to head upstairs to do your normal morning routine.

You slam the door open and everyone turns to look at you. 

"Don't break it." A familiar voice says, you look up and see Light.

You glare daggers at him, "Who else?"

"What?"

"Who else agreed to take care of me as if I'm a child?!"

Light smiled awkwardly and looked around to find the other person. He shrugged awkwardly, he was about to speak until a door opening made him stop. A tall man walked out and adjusted his sleeves.

"Oh, there he is..." Light said looking up at the man. It was your best friends older brother.

Neither of you got along.

"You." 

You sneered under your breath and glared daggers at him. He rolled his eyes and looked down at you.

" I didn't come to play games, I'm doing you a favor. My parents had overheard the way you handled my sister's death and I'm here to help. "

" I don't need your help."

"Your parents already said it's a good idea."

" Yeah, then let them find someone else."

"You have your little boyfriend joining us, so be happy."

He said pointing at Light who just blushed and smiled.

" He's not my boyfriend!!!"

The blonde-haired boy shrugged and grabbed two keys out of his pocket. He handed it to you and Light.

"Your boyfriend knows my address already, be home by 9:00 and I'll have dinner done. If you have any allergies please alert me now. You can choose your rooms once you get there, I've already measured you both so your pajamas will be laid out. I made them myself so if you don't like the color we can go shopping for more cloth. Any questions?"

Light, L, and you stood there confused. L seemed more confused then the both of you as he had just walked in on the conversation, but still, it was odd nonetheless. 

"Ok, mommy."

Light said, you giggled- which soon turned to you bursting out laughing. You weren't sure if it was the sleep deprivation or just the thought of your enemy being mocked by the way they were.

" Alright baby boy, you like the color green right?"

He came back with the same force making Light choke and you laughed more. 

Yep, it was the sleep deprivation. The blonde-haired male fixed his tie and looked Light straight in the eyes.

" I actually didn't introduce myself, my name is Tsuki Haru. I am glad to be of your acquaintance Yagami Light."

"Light is fine."

" Alright, well I'll be on my way, if you don't want to walk I suggest you call me ten minutes before." He quickly walked out before you could ask any questions.

"I'm still going to call him mommy."
