Some small tidbits for you, warning! Slight spoilers ahead, although nothing to spoil the storyline, just some things to get you excited for this season.
How many episodes will there be this season?
This season will continue it's standard run of 12 episodes this season.
Which characters will not be returning for Season 10?
So first off, due to her death last season, Adelaide Kane, who plays Cora won't be in this season, same with Alicia Coppola, who plays Talia. After her brief return and appearance last season, Maya Eshet, who plays Meredith Walker will not be returning this season. Meagan Tandy, who plays Braeden will also not be in this season. Lastly, Season 9 hinted of a storyline involving Ivonne Coll and Ivo Nandi, who play Araya and Severo Calavera, but this storyline will not be apart of Season 10, as well as the characters not being apart of this season.
Will there be a time jump?
Yes, the season will start off 6 Years after the end of Season 9! Although there is more to this (See question further down).
Will we see Lydia and Stiles' child?
Yes, their child will be seen this season, and he/she, not giving anything away will be named after someone special to Stiles.
Are there any returning/new characters this season?
Yes! Loads of returning characters, probably the most exciting to see return is Marin Morrell, who was least seen in Season 3, also Hayden Romero, who was last seen in Season 7, although she made a brief appearance last season, and then we also have Alec, who was seen at the end of Season 6. There are three new big characters this season, will explain more later.
What can you tease about the villains this season?
The villains this season are nothing like the pack have ever faced before, the fear will hit them more than ever, and lets say, they may not ever be able to sleep again.
Melissa Ponzio is returning, and there are also two other characters joining, what can you say about them?
First off, we have two new characters called Sully Adams and Dyer Noble. Sully is going to be a new student that we follow around at Beacon Hills High School, with the rest of the characters having now graduated, and moved on with life, we'll explore more of Beacon Hills High School with Sully. Dyer is going to be Erin's replacement at the Sheriff's Station, and someone that Noah is going to get along with very well. Now to the return of Melissa Ponzio, the actress was last seen in Season 8, playing Scott's mother, although she sadly met her end and she died, the actress is returning this season, but I can't go into much detail about it, other than she is such an essential character this season.
Any other things to note?
A couple of things, firstly:
Although we're going to be skipping 6 years this season, we're also going to be getting glimpses from the past, as something that happened within those years is still haunting them now. Although Scott is our leading character, we're not going to be seeing this story unfold from his eyes, we will actually see the story from the point of view of Stiles and Lydia's child.
Lastly, when can a trailer/release date be expected?
