Two Teams United

The prophecy

Percy

I'm Percy Jackson demigod son of Poseidon god of the sea and I killed Kronos and helped to kill Gaia I pretty much live in a world of Greek gods and monsters and I live in a camp called camp half blood anyway onto the story.

The day started out normal enough my friends Nico son of Hades God of the underworld, Leo son of Hephaestus god of fire and blacksmiths, Piper daughter of Aphrodite goddess of love and beauty, and Annabeth daughter of Athena goddess of wisdom and battle strategy and my girlfriend we started by chatting about what's up at breakfast.

After breakfast we did some training. Jason Nico and I did sword training and the girls practised with their daggers  Leo went off to work in the camp forges.

When the horn went off signalling lunch we were all sweating buckets and we headed off, we all sit on our cabins seat since Nico Jason and I are kids of the big three we are the only ones on our tables there are others of course but they're spread out.

Chiron trotted in he's a Centaur, half horse half man, once we were all in our seats we got our food which was anything we wanted we just asked the plate and goblet to fill up with whatever we wanted we all got up and scraped part of our food into the fire as a sacrifice  to the gods they apparently liked the smell.

Once we had all eaten Chiron got up and slammed his hoof on the concrete a few times to get our attention once it was quiet Chiron started.

"Tonight we have capture the flag," that got a large reaction, once everyone was quiet again he continued, "but Rachel has something to say" he said nodding to Rachel as he sat down.

Rachel is a mortal but can see through the mist, the thing that blocks the mortals from seeing monsters and gods and she is also the Oracle she sometimes gets possessed by the spirit of Delphi and spouts prophecies I have already been through two big prophecies and really didn't want another one but, of course, my bad luck held up, her eyes glowing green and then she started floated I heard many groans and grumbles, the last two prophecies ended up in lots of death and a trip to Tartaras, pretty much Greek hell so you can tell why everyone hated the prophecies, then she started:

"Two teams to unite
To win the great fight
Nine worlds to protect
Great need to deflect
The time for magic
Problem with no logic
A praetor to find
An oath to bind
A new king of the gods
To beat the odds"

Silence. Then the questions started "Two teams? Greeks and Romans maybe?" "Another oath?" But the main question was that wasn't spoken was a new king of the gods? Was Zeus going to be overthrown? Then there was a weird question "Can we ignore it please? last prophecy I died" I looked at who said it and rolled my eyes when I saw who it was, Leo, everyone went silent staring at him "What? is my nose on fire?" Leo said going Cross-eyed looking at his nose

"Anyway I think we should have a council" Chiron said ignoring Leo.

Once we got to the big house a big blue building we went to the council room which was around a table tennis table and we started council.
