Magnus POV

With Surt gone I grabbed a sword from a fallen warrior, luckily it was real, and turned to face the fire giant. The sword felt unbalanced and heavy and I wished I had Jack with me but I would have to make do. As I looked at the fire giant something happened, he flickered to Surt standing over my father Frey, Jack quivering in Frey's ribcage. I felt myself bring my hand up and the sword flew to my hand, then I ran Surt through his eyes wide, then an axe came hurtling in my direction, I turned so Surt was in the axe's path but it went it made a clean cut through Surt's head and into mine, suddenly I was back on Surt's Asgard playpen with the fire giant dead at my feet.

"What the hell was that?" I asked myself.

"That is your destiny in Ragnarok young hero," a voice I knew as the norns said.

"So I kill Surt then get an axe to my head?" I asked but the norms were gone.

"You'll never find Surt," the fire giant growled at me.

"I won't find Surt, I'll find smoldermort," I told him, then I ran off.

As I ran I thought of something, could I make a portal? So i found a spot and imagined Surt's throne room and sliced the air, suddenly the air was filled with the sounds of battle. When i opened my eyes i could see the Egyptians waging battle against Surt and his fire giant.

"Dammit," I muttered and stepped through into the battle swinging my sword.

"Hey Magnus!" I heard someone yell, I looked to my left and saw Walt fighting off Surt himself, "wanna switch?"

"Sure!" I yelled, "on three! Three!"

"Dam you Beantown," Surt said when he saw me.

"Hey Smoldermort, know who's gonna kill you in Ragnarok?"

"No one!" Surt yelled.

"Me!" I yelled at the same time, then stabbed him in his gut.

"Impossible!" Surt yelled.

"Then I get an axe to the head!" I yell at him.

"Magnus we gotta get out of here!" Clint yells at me.

"Ok, just give me a sec!" I yelled back.

"Hurry up," Tony yells at me as I started to concentrate on the tower.

"Let me concentrate!" I yelled accidentally using the peace of Frey, blood started gushing out of my mouth, "dammit."

"What the hell kid?" Clint yelled looking at his broken bow, " I'm on your team!"

"Got it!" I yell, "let's go!"

Tony goes through first holding Zia then Walt and finally Clint, then I jump through after throwing my sword at Surt's nose.

Carter POV

As we ran I thought of something, something I wouldnt even think about it it wasn't a life or death situation.

"Sadie, distract Leroy for a minute will you?" I asked looking at her, her arm was already bleeding a river but she nodded, her eyes as defiant as ever.

"Sure, promoting yourself?" She asked looking at my face.

"Yep, can't run from my fate forever," I grumbled.

"Hey drool face!" Sadie yelled at Leroy, at least I think she did.

As I concentrated I heard the distant sounds of battle which confused me, but I had to concentrate, I had to take control of my fate instead of running from it. I concentrated on something I had left behind months before. As I concentrated I felt some kind of force against me, pushing me back, it was a fight of wills, Set's and mine, Set was fighting someone else as well, and I had more meaning, as we fought i got a glimpse at something, it was a dark place but I saw Annabeth, Percy and Alex with three tall figures, one had a ripped up janitors outfit with silver Einstein hair and silver eyes, another had red skin and wore dragon skin rags. The last one was by far the scariest he had a vortex face purple skin and his armour had the souls of monsters, Titans, giants and monsters, I imedialtly knew this was Tarturas and he was beating the my friends and the two others to a pulp. Set seemed afraid of Taruras and reluctant to help him, but Tarturas was much stronger leaving him no choice. Then the vision was gone and my hand came out holding the Crook and Flail. I looked, amazed I had pulled them out then I heard Sadie scream.
