This story was originally only four chapters long. But as time went by and people continued to show interest in this AU, I wrote a Christmas-themed sequel that is also four parts long! For now, I'm using the "art gallery" chapter as a divider for the two parts of the story. In the future I plan to add even more to this AU, in which case I'll have to format it a bit better.
• Part One (The Manny Named Miles): Phoenix hires a nanny to help him care for his daughter, Trucy, while he attempts to finish his law degree. Predictably, though, the arrangement turns into something more than he had intended it to.
• Part Two (Christmas with the Wrights): Phoenix prepares to throw a grand Christmas celebration for his friends and family, but his plans quickly fall apart and the invite list keeps changing and expanding. To top it off, Miles has invited his long-estranged sister, and she's a bit hard to win over. Hopefully, Phoenix can pull everything together in time. And maybe while he's at it, Miles can repair a relationship that he has neglected for too long.
