I saw a pictures of me and the others. Then I saw one certain picture of me and Jet. We looked so happy. I walked closer to the picture and touched it. The glossy picture seemed to flicker in the electric light.
I didn't get why I had not to remember. It was difficult to know I had a whole different life I barely knew about.
The room was huge after all. June went behind me and said seriously "Hey Min do you really don't not remember anything about this life?"
"It's a shame I don't remember anything..." I said softly
June said "Ok."
I didn't say anything back. I thought it was weird the way June acted. She was very serious. She stared at me and at the picture seriously and began to walk away.
I was looking at a music device I found in the room. I turned it on seeing it had a big playlist. I clicked one of the songs on the device. The song was 21 guns by Green Day. It sounded so familiar to me, but I couldn't tell why. I sat on a edge of the window.
That's when Jet came in. "Hey." I said.
Jet looked at me like something was missing.
"What's wrong?" I asked
"It's nothing ." Jet said.
I nodded "jet do you mind if I ask you one thing?"
Jet shook his head looking at me.
"What was my relationship towards you. I saw pictures that suggested different things." I asked a little scared to ask.
Jet looked at me and at the ground. "We were and weren't a couple. You rejected me."
I nodded. I was so surprised, but I didn't show it. "Thanks for telling me." I said.
I turned off the music device and got up to leave Jet there alone. I thought he needed to be that way. For some reason he seemed depressed. I wondered if it was my fault. I did reject him before
After I walked out of the room I was in for another surprise. "They got June!" I heard someone say.
