chapter eight

* two week time skip *

jackie's pov: ugh today's the day. the day where my life changes. im moving to new jersey, fucking new jersey. out of all the places we could have moved we're moving to new jersey one of the most boring, bland places in the world. anyways let's try and pretend we're happy.

you walk downstairs to see if your parents were done packing the kitchen/living room. you notice they're almost done it's 8:15 am. you have two hours till you leave for the airport. you go back upstairs and prepare and outfit. you wear

you've already finished packing up your room the night before so, you decide to go visit madi, mads, riley and addison before you leave.

you arrive at madi's house where they were all waiting for you.

you walk inside and no one's there you call out everyone's name,

no one answered.

all of a sudden you hear " BOOO "
everyone jumps out and scares the shit out of you.

you see addison, madi, mads, riley jaden, chase, chris, and bryce.

you run to hug them all, you go in order, squeezing the life out of all of your friends. first madi, then addison, riley, mads, bryce, jaden, chris, and chase. chase trys his hardest to give you the biggest hug you've ever had.

chase: im gonna miss you so so much jackie. he says while giving you a kiss on the forehead

jackie: im gonna miss you too bubs

chase: i love you jackie, more than you'll ever know

jackie: awe i love you too chase

they all hang out for another hour, like nothing happened, like jackie isn't moving across the country. they just hung out like every other group of teens would. they said their heart felt goodbyes. chase told jackie to call him as soon as she landed. at this point jackie along with all the girls were teary eyed. with that she walked out the door, and down the driveway into her car. she sits at the steering wheel trying with all she's got not to cry, one single tear falls down her cheek. she wipes it and starts the car up.

fifteen minutes later she arrives to her home, correction her old home.

her parents hurry her to get all of her belongings. she grabs her luggages and her carry on, her phone charger and her airpods.

ten minutes later she finally leaves her house, she started getting emotional, of course she was gonna get emotional she grew up there. said her first word, had her first laugh, cry. she knew she was gonna miss her life here. there was no way of denying it. it takes her and her family thirty minutes to get to lax. she gets there and does the whole process of getting security checked etc.

three hours later she finally boards her plane. she gets the window seat, on the left side of her is her mom and her dad, on the aisle seat. she immediately put her airpods in. five minutes later she gets a dm from kairi. the two have been getting close lately, they talk everyday, flirt with each other and facetime all night.

kairi: of course bye bubba, remember have a safe flight make sure you pay attention just in case your flights going down lol i'll see you soon love.

the flight attendants ask for all electronics to be put on airplane mode so i did so and just continued to listen to music for the rest of the flight.

* time skip *

jackie and her parents just landed in new jersey is was 10 pm. they went through the whole process getting their luggage etc. they rent a car. ( their car's are being shipped to new jersey ) they get to the house.

jackie immediately thought it was beautiful.
she dropped her things and ran inside. it was absolutely beautiful, there was a big kitchen, beautiful living room. it was like a dream house. she went upstairs to look for her room, the house had five rooms. she looked in all of them, finally she found the perfect one. it was already furnished. the theme was light pink and base with a little grey here and there. it was perfect. she loved it. she got out her phone to text kairi.
