Arianna POV

Dad had came in to play with me. This toy doll house was so fun. Dad came and sat next to me than started to play with me. The more we played together I felt safer with him but I still am not sure. He pass me a another doll.

"Thanks ddd..." I started to say but I had no idea what to call him. In my head I called him dad as he is my dad but I am not sure if he wanted to be called that.

"My real name is JJ if you feel more comfortable with that and I don't mind if you call me Dad  whatever you feel better with." He says to me which does comfort me alot as he hasn't been there for me through the years but it is nice for him to he here now

"Thank you JJ." I say quite as I didn't want to hurt his feelings. In my head I know he is my dad so I call him dad in my head but he doesn't feel like my dad.

We carried on playing until it was time to go. I got up form the hard floor to hold my dads hand as we walk out of the soft room. Dad introduced me to tall blonde headed men who looked about twelve and a young beautiful young lady with long blonde hair and looked a little like Arianna Grande.

"Ari, this is my roommate Simon and his girlfriend Talia. They will be living with us and will be doing fun stuff with you while I am working." Dad tells me as they got on there knees so I can could clearly see them.

"Hi" I said in a really shy voice. I don't really like meeting new people but I have a feeling I will be doing this a lot often as I will finally get to know my dad's side of the family.

JJ POV

I now had legal custody of Ari for one mouth. What could go wrong. The first job was to introduce myself to her and make her feel more comfortable with me. She was in the soft play room playing with small doll house. Don't think Mel gave her anything like this because she loved playing with it alot. We carried on the then I saw Ari keep looking at a toy that was on my side so I past the toy to her.

"Thanks ddd..." she says and starts to sutter. Maybe she doesn't know what to call me, I am her dad by blood but I haven't been there for all eight years of her life.

"My real name is JJ if you feel more comfortable with that and I don't mind if you call me Dad whatever you feel better with" I tell her to make her feel more comfortable. If I was going to build a real relationship with her I needed her to trust me and feel comfortable.

"Thank you JJ." When she says it broke my heart but hopefully soon we will be at the stage where she can call me dad. We carried on playing for about five more minutes as are uber was outside. Simons and Talia were waiting outside while I was playing with Ari to give us time but now it was time  for them to meet. We left the room together holding hands 

"Ari, this is my roommate Simon and his girlfriend Talia. They will be living with us and will be doing fun stuff with you while I am working." I tell her hoping that they like each other so it will make this months easier to deal with. Ari haide behind my knees shielding herself from both of them.

"Hi" she says in her quite voice, she sarted to shake with her neruves so I pick her up and was carrying her then started to hold her tight.
