(I had to change the rating to R because of this next chapter. I did make Misha a bit more random because he's suppose to be random)

She looked up at him, she couldn’t move, and it certainly felt like she couldn’t breath. She held herself very still as he continued to stare her down. She could hear movement next to her and realized that Jared and Raven were gone and she was left standing alone across from Misha. Teagan swallowed nervously, she hadn’t even had a chance to have a drink yet and now she was about to match wits with a rather brilliant man. She wasn’t sure what to do next or even what to say to him, if she could even find the voice to speak. She continued to stare up at him and he kept on staring back and she still couldn’t read what lay behind his eyes. For all she knew he was laughing at her. She wet her lips finally decided that one of them should speak when he decided to start speaking first.

“Would you like to dance?” His voice was soft and she almost didn’t hear him over the music. It was still a rather loud and obnoxious song, but most of the other people seemed to like it. She cocked her head slightly causing him to laugh slightly.

“I … uh…” Teagan cleared her throat softly and then continued. “I don’t know how to dance.” He laughed again, this time it was a deeper, even sexier sound then before.

"Everyone knows how to dance" he replied before he took her hand and pulled her toward the dance floor, where a slow song had just begun to play. He pulled her into his arms as “How to Save a Life” by the Fray began to play. They moved to the music in what one might have described as perfect sync. She leaned her head against his shoulder as he pulled her closer to him. He was silent for a minute before she felt a soft vibration against her ear when he started speaking. “I didn’t get to thank you for what you did earlier… you saved my life”

“Look, Mr. Collins” She looked up at him, but he laughed again. He obviously had a bit to drink before the party. He stopped her right there.

“Please… call me, Misha” He leaned his head down to whisper in her ear. She shivered as his warm breath brushed her ear. “Never, ever call me Mr. Collins”

“I’m sorry” Teagan replied automatically, but he shook his head.

“Why did you kiss me?” He asked looking down at her. She felt heat flood across her face as she suddenly knew she was blushing. She looked away from him, and looked around room. She saw Raven dancing actually rather graceful with Jared. They seemed to be enthralled in whatever their conversation was.

“Well, you see” Teagan looked back up at Misha, whose eyes were filled with curiosity. She sighed as she decided the truth was the best thing at the moment. “I guess, the best way to tell you is that … I got lost… completely and utterly lost when I was exploring the convention and I heard a loud noise that sounded like a large group of people. When I looked I saw you running and I thought I’d help. The best way I thought was to hide you from the group… so I kissed you…. I am very sorry” She turned to walk away from him as the song ended.

“Don’t be sorry” Misha followed her, grabbing her arm to stop her from leaving. He also turned her to face him. “I actually… I enjoyed the kiss”

“Really?”

“Would you like to get away from here and get a drink with me?” Misha asked suddenly and didn’t answer her question. She looked up at him confused for a moment as he sighed. “I was thinking about ditching this party early, going back to my room and ordering an expensive bottle of wine and share it with you, if you are interested.”

“Well… I don’t know if that’s a good idea…” Teagan looked away. “I am heading back to L.A. with my friend tomorrow”

“Do you have to work or something?” Misha watched her face. She looked away.
