My Lover

Episode 5

I woke up and got a text from the chief. 

i threw my phone to the other side of my bed. i got up and went to the bathroom.

 i took off my clothing and turned the bath water on. i put my clothes in the dirty pile and grabbed some new ones. i put them on the clothing rack with my towel and stepped in the bath. i closed my eyes feeling the warm water hit my skin giving me chills. i then began washing my hair and my body. after a few minutes i turned off the water and stepped out the bath. i put on my towel and started drying myself. "jungkook." i hear taehyung say. i turned around but he wasn't there. "Can i really do this mission?" i ask myself. i did my skin care routine and and hung up my towel on the clothing rack. i then put on my boxers and my clothes. I went to my closet and put on my shoes and grabbed all my weapons. I looked at the gun and held it tight. "If i shoot you with this, would we be over?" i said to myself. i put the gun in my gun holder and put my knives on my knife strap. I was ready for whatever may go down today. I then got a text from someone. 

I turned off my phone and took a picture out my bag. It was of me and taehyung kissing. i shed a tear and and crumbled it up. i threw it back in my bag. "I don't wanna cry anymore!" i said to myself. i wiped my tears and put my badge in my wallet. i put my wallet in my pocket and went to a cafe to go eat.

I ordered a caramel macchiato with some cookies and a slice of cheesecake. I sat down waiting for my order. I went on my phone thinking of mine and taehyung past. "this will affect us.." "here's your order officer." i smiled. "Thank you!" i gave her a 20 dollar tip as she bowed. "Thank you!" "No problem, keep it for yourself." she nodded and left. i began eating and then saw taehyung enter. I quickly put on my bucket hat to cover my face half way. I continued eating and took the rest to go. I left quickly to my car and put my stuff in the passenger seat. i took off my bucket hat and started punching my steering wheel. Tears streamed down my face. "Man up jungkook! he don't love you anymore!" i said to myself slowly toughening up. i wiped my tears and drove off back to my house. I got some rest. i awoke and saw it was 9:07 pm. I went in my car and drove to taehyung's hide out. i got out the car and entered the building silently. I saw him going up to the roof so i followed. Once i got up there i saw him looking at the view. "Stop right there mother fucker! don't you dare move!" Taehyung put his head down and turned around. I used my other gun since i didn't wanna hurt him with the other one. he took out his gun as we both stood their pointing our guns at each other.

"Jungkook, you know you won't dare to shoot me! so just put it down! you know what, shoot me!" "my heart scares you and a gun doesn't?" "DO IT!" he yelled. i stood firm with my gun pointed at him. Another guy came in pointing his gun at taehyung. "i found him sir!" I shot him down and pointed the gun back at taehyung. "put your gun down taehyung!" "jungkook, it doesn't have to be this way!" Without noticing the guy i shot was still alive and shot taehyung in the arm. i shot the guy back two times and ran to taehyung. "Taehyung!" i yelled. i put pressure on his wound. "I..im sorry!" i picked him up and left down to my car. i put him laying down in the back seat. I drove to the hospital and brung him in. They sent him to the emergency room as i followed. Hours passed as a doctor came in. "he's okay." i ran to taehyung's room and hugged him. i hid my face in his chest crying. "I'm sorry! i should've protected you." he played with my hair and said, "Turn me in." i looked at him crying. "i...taehyung you know i can't, i thought i was strong enough to but i cant!" "jungkook just do it." i kissed him and cried. he wiped my tears. after his stay in the hospital finished i cuffed him and put him in my car. I put my stuff in the car and left back to daegu. I went to the police station and hesitated to bring him in. "Let's go jungkook." he said. "Taehyung go and run to my home! please go!" "No! bring me in." i got out the car and opened the door for taehyung. tears streamed down my face as he gave me a reassuring smile. I brang him to the chief.

"You did it-" "i didn't want to chief look can't we make a deal. i love him and i just got to see him in so many years!" i said crying in front of him. "wipe your tears jungkook!" he insisted. i went on my knees and begged. "If you were me in this situation wouldn't you want to give pity to him?" i said full of tears. he stood me up and hugged me. "One condition, he has to at least be on our side as a mafia." i nodded smiling. i let him out the handcuffs and held him as he held me. I cried heavily. "I did it taehyung, i did it!" "you did baby.." he said smiling at me. we left the office as namjoon stood up at the sight of taehyung. "This is the one? you dated the mafia leader?" i nodded. "And i still am." "your lucky chief agreed to whatever deal you made." "let's all go for a drink!" "sure!" they both said.
