Dil's chapter!

HALEY'S POV

"Hey Haley!" My friend Lexi called to me. I looked over and saw she was across the room, near Mrs.Cathryne, our caretaker.

"Hey." I weakly said back forcing a fake smile. I wondered if she even heard me, because most people don't. They have to get close to me to hear me sometimes.

Lexi smiled, and walked over to me, Mrs.Cathryne following her. I was still in my pajamas, so I don't know why Mrs.Cathryne was going to talk to me. She doesn't talk to anyone unless they're properly dressed.

Mrs.Cathryne quickly told me whats happening this morning. "After you get dressed, come back down here for breakfast. We're having bacon and eggs! Then after breakfast, you'll want to wash up because two nice men are coming to adopt a child here! Maybe you'll be the one they choose!" She smiled, shooing me off to get dressed.

The orphanage I live in is nice, as people come to adopt children here often. Right now, we didn't have that many kids. Seriously, only me, Lexi, and Jasmine, (the 'slut' of the orphanage) are here.

I sighed and went upstairs to my room, and entered. I quickly got a purple AmazingPhil Rawr hoodie out of my wardrobe, and some black skinny jeans. I also put my very long hair in a quick and messy ponytail, making the end of my hair touch my waist. I really liked my hair, as for my birthday last year, Mrs.Cathryne gave me a LOT of money and told me to drag her into town and said that I could do anything with the money. So I got my hair bleached. I quickly brushed the ponytail, fixed it, then looking for some socks. I found two socks that both looked cool, as one was a dark blue with rocket ships on them and then the other was green with flowers. I wore both.

I then went downstairs for breakfast, and I immediately smelled the bacon. My mouth watered at the scent. I walked over to the dining room table, (which was pretty large since we used to have a lot of kids here) and sat down next to Lexi, who already had a plate full of bacon and a hard boiled egg on the side.

"Haley! How would you like your eggs this morning?" Mrs.Cathryne called from the kitchen.

"Scrambled, please?" I asked her. She replied with a sure, and I could hear her breaking the egg.

"Good morning." I heard, and I turned around to see Jasmine, wearing a long pink dress with blue flowers peppering it. Jasmine had an annoyed look on her face, and I knew it was because of the adoption thing. Every time someone comes here to adopt a kid, she goes out of her way to make herself look like the nicest prettiest most talented girl. It gets annoying. She got adopted once, but then got sent back because of how ungrateful she was. No one really liked her much, because of how rude she is, but we have to put up with her.

As Jasmine sits down I see Mrs.Cathryne come out of the kitchen with a plate in hand that has scrambled eggs and a bunch of bacon. My plate. She puts it in front of me and I thank her as she hands me a fork. I begin to eat my food and Mrs.Cathryne turns to look at Jasmine. "Honey, how would you like your eggs?"

"Scrambled as well please." She says, using the nicest voice. Great, she was practicing.

Lexi and I ate in silence, but I ate quickly so I was finished before her. I brought my plate and fork into the kitchen and washed them before putting them away to dry. I got a glass of water, and took it to my room. I'd stay in there until the two guys came.
