Christmas on board the Aronax || The Deep

Kaiko POV
"Dad! What time is it?" Ant asked as we followed Nereus. We had to climb a steep mountain and somehow Nereus was way in front of us.
"Well is right now 1 in the night in Australia so about 11 in the morning" Will replied
"So it's technically still Christmas!" Ant replied excitedly.
Will chuckled. Fontiane nearly slipped but luckily Will caught her. The path was very slippery and it was quite cold in general. We reached an old wooden cottage.
"Come in!" Nereus said. As we stepped inside the cottage was lit by candles and had a fireplace and a Christmas tree with lots of presents under it.
"Merry Christmas!" Nereus said pointing at the present.
"For us?" Fontaine asked
Nereus nodded. Fontaine and Ant rushed to find theirs but they didn't open it yet. I took mine and Will took his. The cottage was quite warm, there was some paintings on the walls and a brown rug on the floor.
"It's snowing!" Ant said as he bolted out the door and kept his present on the floor. Snowflakes were falling down. The view from up here looked spectacular. I picked up some snow and threw it at Nereus, how much I wanted to do that.
He turned around confused, Ant then joined in and threw a snowball at Fontaine. Snowballs were thrown everywhere. Me and Will threw some at Nereus while the kids threw it at each other. I had began to feel a bit chilly so headed back inside. Will had followed me in to but I hadn't noticed. Will pulled my hand and made me turn round to face him and then kissed me on the lips. I blushed as we pulled away. I looked back at the door to see Nereus watching. He chuckled but a snowball hit him right in the face.
