Every Saturday in this school is the day when you are 'free'- no homeworks, projects, and no studying.
5 hours you spend in this school is just to interact with others. The teachers also somewhat lowered their statuses from teachers to seniors.
So what's the point of coming? Easy. A lot of students here seeks comfort and mental support. Yes, this is a special school, Reinsheid High School. The Head Master is from an elite ESP group that aimed to 'heal' young children both physically and mentally. Not to mention that some of the teachers are also part of ESPs.
To put it simple, the students here are either mentally broken or halfway there. What about me, you ask? I'm in charge of monitoring the activities in this school. Sounds sick isn't it? Well I'm still 14 too, so you could say I'm doing 2 stuffs at once. One is original study, second one is monitoring.
My daily work starts at the middle of first semester, but since I am too excited I decided to check this year's students right now- before the New Student Ceremony started.
"G-good... morning..!" A girl said, wearing glasses with a cute cheeky voice.
"Oh, who's who?" A girl more mature, with long straight hair tied to the back replied.
"Lily.." she said. "Lily Scavantine."
"I see, I'm Prussia Flamei. You can call me Ru," She smiled.
"This is my first time here.. do you know where the Ceremony Hall is..?"
"Actually.., I'm also new here. How about we go look together?"
"Thank you... Ru!"
For some reason I know that those two are going to be good buddies.
I changed my sight towards a small commotion near the entrance gate.
"You act like a girl! Could it be.. you're a girl?!" a male student laughs and laughs.
The other student that he was mocking on only throws his face down, fists gripped tightly and teeth that grits hard. But, he didn't say anything. He stood there like a hopeless kitten being played.
Before you ask, I can't help him. All I can do is to observe. Did I forget to mention that no one can see me?
Luck be with us, someone less shorter and was wearing a sluggish manner comes near them.
"Teasing weaklings, what a joke." He said as he passed by to give a small black cat at the gates a bottle of milk. "Oh well, like I care. Here kitty, take this. I found it earlier in my locker, lucky."
"Meoooowww."
"Che. Fuck this." The man that was laughing stopped his nuisance. He cowardly walked away.
"Thanks for saving me... back there.." the guy mocked as 'girly' said to the guy with the sleepy, dead eyes.
"Sure? Though I didn't do anything." He walks back inside the building.
What a guy, he's alive but I can't say he's fully alive. His eyes are even just half-part open. He had no life motivation.
For the other one though, "Harold Creceden", his eyes are too naive, but his soul is above pessimistic. He's going to be hard work for us, that's for sure; just look at that pathetic soul, innocent and blissful also still covered from the real world, but already as pessimistic as words can't say.
I walked along the 1st floor's corridor then to find the recently 'coward' guy. He keeps on badmouthing as he walk. Not so far away, I can see three girls, one in the middle that looks as beautiful as ever, the left one with straight bangs and wavy hair, and another one wearing glasses and loose, tomboyish-kind of uniform. They are carrying boxes, maybe they are cleaning the Club Rooms at the 2nd floor?
I smirked. I get my excitement high to see their reactions when they crashed each other.
BAM!
You should look at those faces when the boxes fly out of the window. I can't hold my laughter- they were all dumbfounded.
"You there! This is bad! Take those boxes!!!" The tomboyish one points at the window with an angered tone. But still, I can easily tell that she's actually afraid to say all of that.
"Who do you think-" the guy named Wendel Yerildra paused his words when he caught sight of the second girl next to the tomboyish girl called Colette Timbers.
"...Why are you staring at me?..."
"O-Oh nothing! What's your name?" He asked. Aha! I sense 'love at first sight'!
"Meredith Serendipity." She straightly answered, "Now can you take those boxes for us? Those things inside are important."
"Ah right! I'll grab them, wait here!"
"I hope none broke.. if there is, I'll be dead." The last girl with the smoothest skin and model-like body said.
"Aaarghhh he's gonna be loong...!" Collette pouts, "Fine, let's help him!"
"Oh.. okay..." the beautiful girl by the name Vallora Dreamweaver replied in a small tone. The three of them then run to where their boxes are.
"...I'm peanuted again..." Vallora muttered to herself.
Oh great. Another pessimistic soul. And worse, she's beautiful. Beautiful and broken- if we didn't heal her soon the entire school could be drowned in negativity.
10 minutes later the chime sounded. It was very loud- and disturbing, in my opinion. The ringing indicates that the ceremony will begin soon. All of the students dashed to the highest floor, except one. She just keeps on walking. She wears glasses, and a very neat uniform.
"Ann!" Someone shouted from her behind.
"Oh, Lily," she replied hazily, "Duuudeee, Yuuki dieeed!! He dieeeeed!"
"Eh really?! Nooo why is that handsome guy dead already??"
"I don't knoww!! The creator said it's still a secret... whyy" she keeps on saying.
"Then.. Neil is mine! He won't die, I wont let hiimmm! I'm going to kill the creator if they killed him on the next issue!"
"Whaaaat, he's mine!!"
These two look like the stand-up comedy show. They seemed all serious-fun at first, but then when they talk like that my happy sensors go ticklish. They looked so fun.
"Lily! Thanks for waiting me, and um.. who are you?" Another girl pops out.
"Oh, Ru! This is Cannary Lemington. She's a friend of mine!" She introduced.
"Call me Ann, and I'm not a type of bird."
"Prussia Flamei. Nice to meet you."
Only then they remembered to go gather for the ceremony. They dashed together ever so anxiously.
Oh well, it looks like this year's going to be yet another exciting year. I'm looking forward for this season's stories. Mm.... my eyes are starting to feel heavy.. I should sleep now, and wait for the middle of the first semester to come.
