"Nooiirrr this too much studying can give me brain damaage.." I said as I roll on the mattress.
"You think?" Noir replied, "I'm all exhausted." He continues as he joins me on the mattress.
Hiiro, our bossy boss, told us to chase our studies fast, so that he wouldn't have to worry about us slacking off later.
"You know, being an ESP is fun but not fun." I stand up and sit on the bed.
ZZZT. ZZZT.
My phone vibrates.
I was about to get it when Noir answered it first.
"Meeeeoowwww."
BEEP.
"It was Hiiro, wasn't it?" I asked.
ZZZT. ZZZT.
"The number you are calling is busy. Please try again later." Noir tried to mimic the phone operators.
BEEP.
ZZZT. ZZZTT.
".......Hissss." Noir screeched.
This time, I picked it up.
"Hiiro what are you-"
"FINALLY." His voice trampled in my ears, "I need you to help me-"
BEEP.
"Noir, I think it's much for today. Oh look, it's 08.30 p.m., wanna have something to eat?"
I walked to the kitchen, and opened the fridge. Oh great. There's nothing left inside except 3 bottles of mineral water and a pack of fish crackers.
I decided to go out to buy some when someone pressed the bell.
DING DONG!
"It's not Hiiro!" I panicked. I can sort of tell.
I'm invisible, yes, but what could she/he do when she/he found out that there's no one inside this well-cleaned house?
"Leave it to me, Kao~" Noir trots.
Oh yea, I forget that Noir is a human. I guess I'm not used to being with Noir, though I've been with him for 3 years, maybe.
"So, who was it?"
"No one."
"Seriously?"
"....It's Hiiro."
"Oh? What's he doing?"
"...Nothing."
"Noir."
"Uuhhh.."
"Nooiirr."
"It's a collar.." he said in a low voice. "Please don't let me wear it.. I don't like being tied...!"
Noir is traumatized by collars, you see. Once he wears a collar and it got stuck. He ended up strangled head-to-toe. Good thing he was in his cat form.
"Don't worry, I won't. Shoo off the long face, 'kay?" I replied.
Noir immediately shifted his pout into a shiny smile.
"Thanks Kao!!! I love you!!"
"And now since you're indebted to me, go buy some instant noodles from the nearest market. I'm starving!" I cut out his talk.
"Kaaaooooo!" Noir keeps on pouting as he go.
