(A.N. hehe I've got lots planned for this story line and everyone is bouta hate me for what Ima do and I will accept that with open arms because my job as a writer is to torture the readers.  Also I'm sick, it's winter break, and I somehow have the motivation to write.  Also thank you all for over 26k reads, just knowing that people read my stories is a huge thing <3)

Midoriya [POV]

I held my phone to my ear, pacing around the room.

"Why isn't he picking up?"

The ringing of the phone—desperately trying to connect to the other line—was starting to drown into nothing more than background noise.

I hung up and dialed again.

"Shoto please pick up," I silently begged.  I picked at the hem off my T-shirt praying that he would pick up.  Shoto had ignored almost ten calls, I had sent him several texts yet he still didn't respond.  I continued pacing around my room as I cradled my phone between my ear and my shoulder.

I plopped down on my bed pressing my knees to my chest as I dialed a different number and returned the phone to my ear.

"Hello?"

"Uraraka!" I exclaimed, even though it wasn't who I was trying to call relief still flooded through my senses.  Just to hear another persons voice.

"Hey Deku, what's up?" she responded cheerfully.

"Uh... not good actually."

"What does that mean?"

"I've been trying to get a hold of Shoto for like almost an hour now and he's not answering his phone.  I'm worried about him."

"Did something happen?"

"I don't know! I haven't been able to get a hold of him."

"No like, did something happen before that you know about?"

I paused, I knew that something had happened.  I knew exactly what happened, if that was the cause of it I didn't know.  If I should tell Uraraka was another thing that I didn't know.

"He got a bit hurt yesterday."

"Yeah, he had a huge bruise on his face, did he tell you how he got it?"

I once again hesitated, I moved my phone to the other ear.

"Endeavor."

I barely whispered the word, I wasn't even sure that she had heard me by how silent she was

"Endeavor gave him that bruise?"

"Yes."

"That huge bruise on his face?  And probably other injuries by the way that he was acting throughout the day.  Endeavor did that?"

"Yes."

I felt my cheeks burn with guilt.  Maybe I shouldn't have told Uraraka.  Shoto didn't want anyone else to know about what happened.

"His father, Endeavor?"

"What other Endeavor is there?"

"So you mean to tell me that Endeavor—Todoroki's father—gave Todoroki that huge bruise on his face and possibly other injuries?"

"Yes, at least that's what Shoto told me, I trust him."

"and Todoroki didn't say anything!" She shouted

"Uraraka listen."

"I'm listening."

"You can't do anything about this, promise that you won't get involved, Shoto didn't want anyone else to know about this so he purposely didn't tell anyone.  You surly can't tell him that I told you.  He would hate me."

I stood up and started to pace again.  It didn't help to calm me down.

"He shouldn't be allowed to do that!"

"I know."

"Todoroki should tell someone!"

"I know, but he's not going to."

"Why not!"

I had to pull my phone away from my ear because of how loud she shouted.

"Because he said that it wouldn't help, he doesn't want anyone else to get involved, please just I don't know what to do.  He's not answering any of my calls or my texts and after what happened yesterday I'm worried about him like, really worried."

"You know where he lives right?  You've been over to his house?"

"Yeah."

"Try calling him again, and if he doesn't pick up then just show up at his house."

"But what if he's mad at me, what if he's purposely trying to ignore me."

"Then he can't ignore you anymore, if you outright show up at his house he can't ignore you and if something bad happened then you can be there to help or at least if you're there that'll be a distraction or some moment of time that you've bought."

"Yeah, I guess so."

"So try calling him again."

"Okay, thanks Uraraka."

"Don't mention it, hopefully Todoroki is okay."

"Yeah, I hope he is too."

"I've gotta go Deku, I'll see you tomorrow, good luck.  Bye bye."

She hung up before I could even say goodbye.  I took a deep breath, settled in my desk chair (Probably not for very long).  And started to dial Shoto's phone number again.

(A.N. so I tried a new thing for a chapter, sorry if people hate it I didn't really know what else to write I hate writing phone calls cause you can't really have any facial expressions or movement but whatever.  I tried okay.  Bbbb thanks for reading)
