Byron sits at the table, shovelling granola into his mouth as he scrolls Netflix on his phone. In the kitchen, clanging about, Alex makes pancakes with Lachlan while Sol--

"Oh, shit, the new season of You is out!" Sol calls from the couch just as Byron sees the notification on his phone.

"Fuck, we have to watch it," Byron says, shutting his phone off and carrying his bowl to the couch. "Is it the whole new season?"

"Yep. This looks good," Sol murmurs, clicking onto the first episode and pausing it. He turns around on the couch to call Alex over and freezes. "Oh..."

"What?" Byron says around a mouthful of food, glancing over his shoulder. Alex stands in the kitchen, watching them both with a raised brow and a pointed look at Lachlan who stands with his back to them. "Oh."

They were still having casual sex with Lachlan when they binged the first season of You last year. So, he wasn't invited. Lachlan also doesn't like that kind of stuff. He's not into anything with gore or murder which Byron thinks has only been the case since his dad died. He's certain one day Lachlan will sit down to watch a horror movie or a thriller or just a murder mystery with them. But today is not that day.

"I suddenly don't feel like watching it," Byron says, standing up. He heads to the kitchen as Alex flips a pancake and Lachlan busies himself with making a fruit salad. He eyes Byron as he swoops in. "What do you want to do today?"

"I might go to the gym, By," Lachlan murmurs, drizzling maple syrup onto the fruit. "You can watch the show, it's okay."

"No, baby. It's the holidays and I want to spend it together." Byron shakes his head, watching as Sol flicks onto YouTube to play one of their mix playlists.

"It doesn't bother me," Lachlan insists but Byron knows it does. He pulls the fruit salad away and kisses Lachlan on the cheek.

"It bothers me."

The four of them sit at the dining table to eat. Byron continues to snack on the granola as he cuts his pancakes up, keeping one eye on Lachlan as he covers his one pancake and plate in fruit.

"I don't want to watch anything anyway," Alex yawns when he finishes eating. "I just want to nap and spend the day with my lovers."

"We can't nap all day," Sol says in exasperation, elbowing Alex's side. "Besides, don't we have something we want to give, you know..."

"Oh!" Byron stands up abruptly, startling Lachlan. He grins down at him and jogs to the study he hid Lachlan's two other presents. He grabs the G-rated one and returns to the table. "Merry Chrysler, angel."

"W-What but you— you already—" Lachlan stammers as he takes the present from Byron. He stares at the gift before lifting his gaze, jaw slack and eyes wide.

"I wanted to give you this yesterday with your family, but I forgot," Byron explains, sitting back down. Lachlan stares at the gift for a minute and Byron smiles, pushing it closer to him. "Go on, angel."

Glancing at Sol and Alex, Lachlan pulls the present close and slowly unwraps it. He keeps one eye on Byron as he does which makes the man grin. Lachlan is probably wary of the contents, but this really is G-rated.
