~Emona  "Nona" Iiuda~

"Emona!" Tanaka shouted running across the court to me. As he jumped to pounce on me I held a fist out shoving it straight into the man's gut.

"We have talked about personal space sunshine." I smiled down at his hunched over hurting form.

"Ahh," He moaned in pain. "She called me sunshine." He rolled over.

"Tanaka what are you doing on the-" Daichi had walked across the court to find out why his teammate was laying on the floor. "Oh, Nona it's you. What are you doing here?" Daichi blushed slightly.

"Well, I came to bring you guys snacks." I smiled sweetly holding up a sack of fruits and other goodies.

"Thanks, Iiuda." Daichi said as Sugawara had found his way to us and Tanaka regained his strength standing beside us.

"Daichi, you can call me Emona, or that cute nickname you gave me." I blushed looking away as Tanaka took the sack digging in looking at the treats I had brought.

"Emona, let's go we have to finish moving the boxes!" A voice was heard from outside the gym.

"Moving?" Sugawara asked.

"Yeah, my last day is Friday. I was gonna tell everyone tomorrow, but I guess the can of 'I didn't want to say it because then it became real' is now open." I turned to the door tears welling in my eyes.

"Oh, well. Where are you moving to?" Daichi asked hurt lining his words.

"I-I don't want to talk about it. We're just packing the moving truck now, then we'll be on the road. I'll see you guys tomorrow." I ran out of the gym tears falling down my face.

"Iiuda, is moving?" Hinata and Kageyama had joined the three boys as Tanaka held out a box of cookies.

"Yeah." Daichi choked out.

"Emona, pack up your final box! We need to get going now!" my mother called from downstairs.

"I thought we were leaving Friday it's only Wednesday!" I sat upright from laying back on the floor.

"Change of plans we only have the moving truck for another two days."

"No!" I ran down the stairs. "I don't have any more boxes, and my final bag is by the door!" I ran out of the house and straight to Karasuno High School Gym. I needed to tell them the bad news.

"Daichi, man," Sugawara set the ball for his friend to spike over the net. "You need to tell her before it's too late."

"AH!" he hit the ball over the net it landing out of bounds. "Damn. I'll tell her tomorrow."

"Better sooner than later. Who knows what might happen," Suga set another ball, "She might take her last day to spend it all with you."
"I don't, EYAH, think she would. She's too amazing and has other people to please." Daichi wiped the sweat from his brow with his arm.

"Daichi, you have liked Emona for a long time, why don't you just tell her?" Sugawara placed the ball from his hand into his armpit.

"Guys!" I blasted through the gym doors to find the team practicing their normal routine.

"Emona!" Daichi lit up but soon backed down a little bit seeing the red puffiness under her eyes.

"What's wrong, my fair angel?" Tanaka and Nishinoya called running over to me. As they sprung at me I welcomed them with open arms embracing the boys in a large hug.

"AHHH, She's hugging me!" the two sighed happily as I let them slide to the floor. I giggled a bit at them walking further onto the court. Daichi watched as the woman of his dreams went to every one of his team members as they approached her hugging them. Something deep down hurt. He had to get out of there. He turned leaving through the opposite door furthest from me. As I finished with everyone that came up to me there was one volleyball member left I needed to see. Daichi.

"Where did the Captain go?" I asked spinning looking at all ends of the court tears threatening to fall.

"He was just here," Hinata said looking around. I looked at the ground in defeat. Sugawara walked up to me placing a hand on my back.

"What's wrong Nona?" He asked.

"I was hoping to say goodbye." I looked down wiping my eyes quick with the back of my hand.

"Goodbye, I thought you left in two days," Kageyama shouted.

"Change of plans, we only have the moving truck for another day so we have to go tonight, to make it on time." I spun around one last time before walking backwards to the door keeping my eyes peeled for the man that I was searching for. "Thank you gentleman for a wonderful two years at Karasuno High." I smiled at them, tears welling in my eyes, "If you see Daichi, tell him. That I lo- Will miss him very much and I'm sorry I couldn't say goodbye." I turned around tears streaming down my face. I ran out of the gym.

"Daichi, you dumbass, she's moving away and you didn't stay long enough to see her leave. What the hell is wrong with you!" the team yelled at their captain as he walked back onto the court.

"She's got two days, I'll talk to her tomorrow," Daichi rubbed the back of his head with a small smile.

"You moron!" Kageyama yelled.

"She's leaving today!" they yelled. All the color left the man's face as his shoulders dropped.

"GO GET HER!" Sugawara yelled. Daichi ran out of the gym after the girl.

He found me walking slowly my arms holding my stomach head tilted down.

"Emona!" Diachi yelled, with no reaction, I didn't realise he was behind me let alone calling my name. "Nona!" He stopped yelling directly at me. I looked up stopping in my tracks. My head wasn't playing tricks on me. I turned around to see him. The man I have loved for a long time but was too scared to say anything.

"Daichi." I smiled at him tears falling freely down my face.

"Nona, I'm so sorry. I saw you hug everyone and I started to think the worst." Daichi started.

"Shut up." I ran to him wrapping my arms around him.

"Emona, tell me, when is the moving date?" He was nervous to ask but choked it out anyway.

"We leave town, as soon as I get home."

"Then you won't go home." Daichi held my shoulders as he looked down at me.

"You know I have to." I looked up to him.

"I love you."

"What did you just say?" I stood there shocked, staring at him head cocked a little bit as a reaction to his words.

"I love you. I just- I just needed to say it before I do something stupid and I never get another chance to say it." He smiled tears wanting to fall from the strong man's eyes.

"Oh, Daichi!" I flung my arms up around his neck pulling him into a hard kiss.

"I can pay for your train ride tomorrow if you spend the rest of the day with me. Will that be ok?" Daichi pushed me away slightly the tears falling slowly down his face. I nodded yes.
