[22] Kung Food

Today is going to be an interesting day. This day included Taehyung's uncle visiting his home, so he could be the next new gourmet chef for the Park's hotel. The giant building that only has the best quality food when staying at the place.

"I haven't seen my uncle since I was little when I visited him in Daegu." Taehyung was panicking but also very nervous to see his uncle again. He hopes that his uncle remembers him after some years.

"Where's Daegu that your uncle lives at?" Tikki is wise for a guardian Kwami, but with geography, it was hard for her to understand. "Daegu is in South Korea, I'll show you."

He pulled up a map on his phone and showed where South Korea and Daegu were at. "See and if I pull up pictures, you can see how pretty the place is."

Tikki did find the place very pretty. "Did you live there and speak the language?"

"Well yes and no. I was born there but we had to move for better living. Sometimes we go over there for vacation to the farmlands where my mom side of the family lived. The speaking part..." The boy realized he never spoken his language in such a long time. He had to learn it quick. "Um I think a study session on my language would be good right about now. Like I know what they're saying by hearing, but when speaking a little of my mom's family there, it just comes out naturally in dialect."

"Makes sense." Tikki understood what Taehyung had to do, to be prepared for a family relative to visit.

So when Taehyung started relearning his original language, it was coming back to him slowly. There wasn't enough time, so he called for back up. "Hey Yoongi, could you help me with Korean?"

"Sorry I can't Taehyung, I have trouble one and trouble two to look after, but I know who can help you. I'll send them over now."

"Wait Yoong-he ended the call." A sigh pulled over him with narrowed eyes of being hopeless to learn his language in just an hour. Until a knock at the door sent the blue hair boy nervous that it could be his uncle, behind that door. When he opened the door, it was actually, "Jungkook?"

"Hey Tae, Yoongi sent me here because your uncle is coming today." Jungkook smiled with those bright round eyes that always made things better. "Oh thank you so much Kookie. So you can speak Korean?"

"Yep, and I'm at your service." The boy bowed like a prince would do or more likely, Cat Noir would do. Taehyung was blushing at the sudden action from his crush, it sort of reminded him of someone that does that a lot. Quickly, Jungkook stood back up with a little laugh, the feeling of "I shouldn't have done that and I hope that he doesn't now know I'm Cat Noir".

"Um anyways, when is your uncle coming?"

"He should be here by now. I'll ask mom." The two headed down to the bakery to see that Taehyung's mom and dad were with his uncle.

"Ah perfect timing son, your uncle is here to see you." Just seeing his uncle gave him the feeling that he's been in his culture for years. "Um hi, uh, these are for you." Jungkook immediately translated that to his uncle while pointing at the purple flowers, Taheyung was holding.

The translation sounded different, more Busan like. Taehyung's heart fluttered just hearing that dialect.

Therefore, the uncle took the flowers, took them apart to put them in his bag for later.

"Taehyung dear, how about you and Jungkook take your uncle to the hotel." His mom's idea was actually good because he can catch up on what's been happening in Daegu. This was perfect. With that, the three of them took Jungkook's car with Jin driving in the front.

During the car ride to the hotel was short, but he listened onto the conversation with his uncle and Jungkook. Taehyung couldn't stop listening to that Busan dialect that his crush would sometime slip out when translating.
