[41] Catalyst : Hero's Day pt.1

Today is a special day.

That day is called Hero's Day. This is when everyone celebrates their safety with Paris's greatest heroes, Ladybug and Cat Noir.

Well, one of them doesn't. That is, if you're Kim Namjoon, Jungkook's stepdad that's the greatest designer known to the world.

Then, there's Jin, his very handsome assistant. He works to help assist Jungkook and Namjoon. Over a few years, Jin has a thing for the designer but kept secret until the moment was right. For now, it's his job to protect both of the family members.

"Excuse me, sir. I'm about to take Jungkook to the Kims' bakery," Namjoon didn't answer but only looked a pin with beautiful feathers on it.

Like a peacock.

"Sir? Are you alright?" The assistant was very worried so he walked up to Namjoon to make sure everything was okay or not. By surprise, Namjoon became startled by the presence, "Oh Jin. I didn't see you there."

"It's alright sir. I'm letting you know that I'm taking Jungkook to that nice friend of his."

"Alright then." With that, Jin headed out the design room leaving Jungkook to get dropped off. He was left alone gazing at the peacock pin, remembering how Jungkook's mother used to wear it all the time. Now it was in his hands that no one would wear this pin that was a miraculous.

For now, he placed it in the painted vault for safekeeping. Only he and Jin knew about this. His thoughts came upon him from when he and Jungkook used to be very close with each other and when he found Noorooo that day, everything changed from that. From then, on the two have been closed off from each other, but somehow, Namjoon and the boy have gotten closer.

Day by Day, Jungkook is getting used to the outside world with friends he cares about. It would be terrible if the boy found out that his stepdad is the mastermind on all of this. Namjoon couldn't bare that at all. Jungkook would shut him out for good. "Well, I better what the major has to has for Hero's Day." He sighed and turned on the screen he used for his designs to see what the major has to say about Ladybug and Cat Noir.

Also, Jin was back and checking up on Namjoon to see if he's okay. "Sir, I'm back."

"Oh, good to see you and join me." Jin nodded and stood next to Namjoon watching the speech of how grateful they are having such hero's bringing them their safety to the home of Paris. "Look at them Jin, smiles, and cheers for the heroes. If they weren't here, I wouldn't be the villain of Paris."

"Don't say that you have your reasons to be Hawk Moth. You want to bring Jungkook's mother back."

"Yes I'm planning on that but I need their miraculous for that. I want the boy to be happy again." Once Namjoon said that Jin thought about the expression Jungkook made when he arrived at the Kims' bakery. He was smiling big.

It made him smile as well when he saw how happy Jungkook was when he dropped him off. "I think he's fine because he has friends to support him."

"That's true, but for now, let's head up where you can help me with something."

"I'll do anything for you Namjoon."

Furthermore, the two went into the dome area where Namjoon usually spends his time dealing with things to retrieve the two miraculous holders of the ladybug and black cat. "Jin, you keep our heroes busy?" The assistant nodded with a smile that he's happy to help. "Of course sir."

"For you Jin, you'll be their new villain to defeat them and bring me their miraculous here." A purple butterfly flew over to Jin and transformed into a villain. "I'll be known as Catalyst and I'll bring you their miraculous to you Namjoon."

Jin headed out to retrieve what should be in the hands of his loved Namjoon. To in which, to ruin Hero's Day.

From a different perspective of this Heroic Day by doing good deeds and celebrating the heroes they love, Jungkook wanted to help Taehyung bake. Besides, it's better to have someone around with an extra hands-on board. "Is my apron on right?"

"Yes Koo, your apron is on right. Now let's make some baked goods." They started off by making cookies, then brownies, cupcakes, macaroons, and lots of delicious treats. The reason is that Taehyung wanted to help out the bakery. Since Jungkook was here with him, they could make the treats faster and still have them taste yummy.

"Tae watch out you're gonna-" Until, the blue hair tripped over on a brown bag of flour, into the other's arm from impact from falling. Which, they did fall to the floor with Jungkook on his back while Taehyung was laying on him with a face of embarrassment. "I'm-I'm so sorry Koo. I should've watched my step."

"It's alright, at least we didn't have a giant mess." The two boys smiled together and tried standing on their feet again, but it got messy very quickly. Eventually, they finished everything they wanted to. "That was something and I think I still have some leftover sprinkles in my hair." Jungkook shook his head seeing little rainbow colors coming out of his hair. "They look good on you but you can use the bathroom upstairs to wash them out."

Although, the notification of the news caught their attention on their phones. That there was a villain trying to ruin Hero's Day. "Do I have to transform with sprinkles in my hair?" The boy pouted because it would look ridiculous having a Cat Noir with sprinkles on him. "Just wash your hair in the bathroom and come to me when you're done."

Jungkook agreed and headed to the bathroom.

Therefore, Taehyung headed out as Ladybug to defeat Catalyst from ruining this special day. Once he found the villain, he tried to stop him from harming people or other things that could be damaged. "Oh Ladybug, I see you found me. Quite amazing I say but where's your feline partner?"

"Right here!" a Cat Noir with damp hair has finally arrived, "I had to wash my hair before I got here. Also, I look best when I shower." Taehyung rolled his brown eyes with a smile. "How about we talk later and defeat the villain."

"Sure thing Gorgeous. Besides, I'm letting my hair air dry anyways." From that statement, the two started to use offense moves and tried to defeat the villain, but couldn't. By the time they got knocked down, Catalyst was gone.

"Where did he go?" Taehyung asked while they headed back to the bakery and transformed back to normal. "I don't know but we still have time to taste test the treats we made."

"Not a bad idea also you're hair is a mess." The boy giggled at how the other's air-dry hair looked so messy and sticking up like spikes. "Let me help." Taehyung used his hands by not fixing it to make Jungkook's hair into cat ears. He couldn't hold in his laughter.

"What's so funny..." Once Jungkook touched his hair sticking up, Taehyung fell to the floor laughing in the fetal position, "really? How about I give you animal ears."

Therefore, the two were giggling and tasted the treats they made. Which they tasted amazing.

On the other hand, Jin went back to Namjoon to be de-akumatized as a villain. "I failed you, sir. I couldn't do it anymore."

"I know you tried your best, it was your first time." Namjoon held the side of Jin's face delicately like a flower, while the assistant's hand on his. "I'll do better with the peacock miraculous, just like Jungkook's mother did."

"I can't risk you doing that Jin. You're too dear to me." hearing that made Jin understand what Namjoon wanted best, but it'll happen today or some other day we may never know what might happen.

Even if it evolves around the peacock miraculous on this day of time.
