Chapter 2: Teammates

"Hayato" I was snapped out of my memory by the sound of Mr.Aizawa's voice, how long had I been standing here? Nobody was staring at me as if I was insane so it couldn't have been that long... even though it felt like forever.

"Yes, sir?" I recovered quickly shoving my fists in my pocket, he looked at me as well as the rest of the class.

"You all have had your chance to show off your quirk and really show us what you're made of in the entrance exams, Miss Hayato here has not." I nodded curtly, giving him my full attention now
"And instead of singling her out or having everyone do some lame fitness test I decided we'd play a little game"

He removed his hands from the mess of rags and dropped something on the ground, I picked one up. It was a black belt and hanging off of it was blue flags.

"The game is called Medic. There will be two teams, red and blue. Each team will have a medic who will wear these red or blue headbands" he held them up for us to see
"Everyone else will wear these belts with 2 flags. If you get both of them pulled, the only way back in is if your medic heals you until then you're stuck where you died and inactive. However, if the opposite team kills your medic then you loose"

"How do we kill the medic? And how will they know if we need help?" Izuku questioned, we all nodded in agreement

"Each belt has a button on it that you will press when you've died, the light will turn blue or red depending on your team to signify that you're dead. And you kill the medic by stealing their head band and bringing it to me, instant game over"  I smirked, this sounds like it could be fun. He tossed the red headband to Izuku and the blue one to Eijiro, then split up the teams accordingly. I'd been put on the blue team which meant Eijiro was my medic, I pulled the belt around my waist and redid my bun so that it was more secure. We were moved to a different area that looked more like a training ground, there were huge rocks and pipes and even some big buildings.

"What the hell?!" I whipped around and came face to face with Bakugo- who also had on a blue flag belt. I groaned

"No way I'm working with this idiot" I shouted glaring at him.

"Me?! I'm the idiot?? YOU WATCH YOUR MOUTH OR ILL KILL YOU IDIOT!"

"YOU COULNT KILL ME IF YOU TRIED DUMBASS"

"OH YEAH?!"

"YEAH!" He lunged for me again but this time we were separated by Mr.Aizawa, who gave both of us a death glare

"You two are on a team. So you'll have to work together, got it?" We both snapped upright, Jesus this man is terrifying

"Yes sir" we said at the same time, he grunted before leaving. The two of us growled at each other

"Watch your back-" we started at the same time
"Don't copy me dammit!" He said at the same time as I did, what the hell is with this boy?! Kirishima stepped in between us

"Alright you two, our team is coming up with a strategy so you should join" The two of us stormed away, Kirishima let out a breath of air
"Jeez. It's like having two Bakugos" both of us whipped around to face him

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!"

"Oh god"

Our team thought it would be best to split jobs up accordingly, that way we had a goal and wasn't just standing around waiting for opportunity. Tokoyami was tasked with protecting our medic Kirishima because of dark shadow and how quick he was, everyone else was tasked with pulling as many flags as they could and because Bakugo was 'the strongest' (eye roll) they sent him to kill the medic. Everyone saw my quirk in action earlier and how I took down Bakugo and decided that I was also one of the strongest- which is how I ended up working with Bakugo as my partner and our goal was to kill Midoriya.

Aizawa's voice came over the intercom announcing that the game had begun, a huge smile covered my face and I glanced at Bakugo. He raised an eyebrow

"What is it, Baka? Why are you looking like that?" I shook my head

"It's nothing. I just missed being in action and getting to fight and use my quirk" he nodded, arms still crossed tightly over his chest.

"You said you missed it. Why were you out of action" I quickly looked away from him, shit I said too much. Why did I tell him that??
"Whatever, I don't care anyway. The game started and we need to find Deku so just keep up will you?" And with that he shot up into the air with his hands, I smirked

"Not a problem" I crouched down feeling the air circle through my body, the ground cracked beneath me as I shot off of it and into the air quickly catching up with Bakugo. He gave a surprised look as I passed him, I twisted in the air winking at him
"Try to keep up, Katsuki"

I turned around just in time to plant my feet on a pipe and shoot into the air again, an excited laugh escaping my throat. We raced for sometime, and I looked back to see that we wasn't there. I raised an eyebrow and turned around only to see Iida flying at me through the air shouting something and frantically waving his arms, I spun in the air quickly releasing a string gust of wind that knocked him out of the air. He hit the roof of the building with a thud and I lowered myself down a few feet away. He has on a red belt, I squinted as he hopped up. Where the hell was Bakugo?!

"I am sorry miss but you are on the other team and for the sake of our medic I cannot let you go any further" he said putting his hand over his heart, so that means Midoriya is near by. He do I get past this man, he's obviously extremely fast.
"You're being unusually quiet so I assume you understand-"

"DEKUUUUUU" I heard Bakugo shout followed by an explosion and the building shaking below us, my anger spiked. That asshole used me to bait away his protection so he could get to Midoriya himself?! I instantly got a plan, but I needed to know where exactly Bakugo and Midoriya were in the building for it to work. I also had to figure out a way to distract Iida long enough to execute it, I got into a fighting stance staring him in the eyes

"You'll just have to fight me to keep me away then, won't you?"
