Y/N POV:

"SHIT!"

I've found myself followed by a shadowy figure. The possibility of the figure being a CCG is very high. The only hope I have is that the person in question isn't a first-class... I'm so fucking doomed...

"Is that a sign? I can't see anything in a place so damn dark!"

As I was trying to find a way to get out of this situation I'm in, I felt something hit me in the face.

Third POV:

As Y/N was running, a sign was on the way. She didn't notice it since it was so dark in the alley. Of course, that didn't stop her from getting up. She used her kagune ( your kagune is Rinkaku like Kaneki's ) to get lifted on the building. She lost sight of the person. At last, she escaped.

"For god's sake... Why do people get the wrong image of ghouls?" Y/N mumbled to herself.

Y/N is just so coughed up by the perspective view the government has on ghouls. Even the citizens have the wrong image... Even her mother...

Her father was a ghoul, but he never told her lover about it in fear of losing her. When his wife found out, she called the CCG to report on him and kill him. When her mother gave life to Y/N... She wasn't EXACTLY the happiest person. She had a bad feeling that her child will become like her father. It toke her long enough to find out that Y/N was a ghoul four years later. She sold her to a  ghoul trafficker, escaped at the age of 10. Leaving her having to train and find a way to survive on her own in a huge city that is Tokyo.

Y/N POV:

"At least I managed to get some food before being chassed..." Replying as she opens the plastique bag.

"Better get to my apartment before ghouls begin to scent the food.."

I jumped to building throw building, but as silently as I possibly can. Thank heavens that my kagune is useful for jumping.

I knew the city as much as I know my mind. My apartment was not far away from the cafe that I work there. The job is perfect! You get paid 11$ the hour, which isn't that bad to me... My apartment isn't that small since I live by myself. The rent isn't that cheap nor that expensive which makes it easy.

I put the meat in the fridge, take a shower, brush my teeth, and head to bed. "I hope that someday, there will finally be peace... I'm tired of living in the shadows..." I thought to myself as I fell asleep.
