Part 4: AN ATTACK!??

Third POV:

"UGH GODDAMN IT!"
The teenager had been toiling in math for the past 2 hours, she is frustrated in the perplexity that this subject holds.

"Why didn't I go to school.."

The minor had borrowed books off the Yokouchi library, a library that is just next to a small elementary school. The "Mirai youth academy".

As much as she hates to admit it, she often looks throw her window to see the smiles of children, the joy that they have, their carefree attitude. Their looks on their faces when they leave school makes her fantasize about having a normal life, an elated childhood. The impossible dreams of this ghoul could give you a feeling of guilt looking at this sad sight.

Y/N POV:

WHY IS SIXTH GRADE MATH SO HARD?!! HOW DO PEOPLE DO THIS?!! I can't go to a school while knowing nothing about important subjects! Especially a private hero school!

"CURSE YOU UNIVERSE!" I screamed in annoyance.
I didn't want to leave the house because, my whole life I've been living in the shadows, and I still want to keep it that way.

I changed my clothes to a comfortable, black hoodie and some dark blue jeans, did my hair, and I was ready to head to the library again.. To be wholehearted, the library isn't that bad, it's just that the children that come out of the school give me evocations of harrowing memories. It's not that bad though, it's just a feeling of affliction. A feeling of "could've had been us"...

I hurried to the library, another minute in front of the school, and I would've turned into a terrorist for mass genocide. I went to the "School" category to look for more information regarding the subject I'm aggravated at. At last, when I found a suitable book, I headed to the librarian. She is a sweet, old lady whose quirk is telekinesis. She gets the book off my hand using her quirk and started typing in her computer the information.

"Are you tutoring a kid, by any means?" She said to me while focusing on her work.

"Ah no, not really, it's just for my brother..." I said lying to her.

"Well I'm sure that this will help" she answered while giving me a small exercise notebook. My eyes widen a bit. I wasn't really one to express my feelings nor emotions, but this is too generous!

"Thank you, but this is too much.." I talked to her while trying to give her back the exercise
book.

"No need to worry dear, this book has been in my house long enough! I just wanted to get rid of it and, well, you kind of are the only one I could find" she chuckles a bit while answering.

"Ah...thanks.."

I do not know why, but I was expecting a better response... Well, I should've not been expecting something big, honestly. People tend to try to give you hopes up saying "you are the chosen one".

Third POV:
Y/N walked out of the library with three new books in hand. "Math for 6th graders", "Preparing for 7th grade" and the exercise book. As she headed home, a big explosion happened near the train station.

"ARRRGGGGHHHHHH"

She looks around her to see people running from the opposite direction she is going. The creature who did that noise was a big, dark blue, strong creature that has a visible brain and eyes on it. Y/N was a bit fazed by the appearance this monster has. It wasn't something you usually see in her world. But she appears... pissed off at that encounter.

"My day was been SHIT since the morning, and I am NOT ready for another PROBLEM!"

She knew she had to hide her kagune so she instead tries to get his attention, which working lavishly. She then gets him in a dark alleyway and then proceeds to let her kagune out. She gets one of his arms and threw him to a wall. This didn't work as the creature come out with now four arms. She then tries to analyze the situation and look for a weak point on his body.

"His brain is out visible"

Y/N gets on a wall, gets lifted by the creature, places her kagune in a screw form and hits his brain. The brain was blown into pieces and the blood was everywhere.

"*sniff*"

"EWW!!! What kind of blood is this, it smells horrible!" She admits to herself.

She winced at the smell. She is a ghoul, so she survives off human flesh, but this smell just doesn't smell human! It's like a lot of chemicals have been put in it!

"I should go home before my nose gets pierced!" She says as she becomes the shadow.
