Since the first quirk was created 2 infants were granted power that changed their eyes. Over the years they grew up together and got real close. They eventually started a family, but before that they created a tablet that had their powers described and how to get each version of the eye that they named Sharigan.
Over the years they had a huge family and owned a fair piece of land and got the jobs of hero's, making enough money to raise a family. They would train kids since they were 6, and teach them as much as they could including an energy that they discovered at an old high school for hero's. (basically ua)
They also use the forest behind there house to train their quirks and to invent new Jutsu's, along with this they discovered that there was different types and if you used all of your energy you would pass out.
