"Okay then...um see you tomorrow..." Alec said and turned to leave on the last step of the porch remembered he hadn't given magnus the dish he made so he shoved it in his hand and almost ran back to his own house leaving magnus on his door smirking.

It was a warm day. The breath of the summer wind not having the desired effect of cooling him down. With a sigh I looked up and saw him jogging past my lawn where I was watering the grass. He slowed down when he got near me.
"Morning neighbor" he said coming to stand at my fence
"Morning alex" I replied. He smirked his eyes trailing over my body.
"Are you coming over tonight?" He asked
"Depends will your sister be there?" I asked
"Do you want here there?" Alex asked
" take a wild guess" I replied
"I'll find a way to get her out of there" he said smirking and left my eyes lingering on his ass as he walked into his house.

""I'll find a way to get her out of there" he said smirking and left my eyes lingering on his ass as he walked into his house." A soft feminine voice read from behind magnus and he turned around surprised.
Behind him stood a female version of his tall dark and handsome neighbor. His eyes went wide when he realised it was the Izzy Alec had told him about.
"Hmmm...you have the hots for my brother don't you?" She asked. Magnus looked around for an escape route.
"Its okay I think he likes you too" she said with a secretive smirk playing on her lips. And walked towards her brothers.
Magnus sighed leaning back in the lawn chair he was sitting on and gazed at the small family chatting and laughing near the grill. Sighing magnus turned back to the phone in his hand and started typing again. He usually didn't use his phone to write but he felt showing up with his laptop was a little over the top and he was sure he would get inspired with the time he stayed there.
When i showed up at his house a couple of hours later he opened the door in only black leather pants and an enticing smirk playing on his lips.
"Am I too late?" I asked taking in his beautiful torso bared to my hungry eyes.
"Oh no. Your just in time" he replied and stepped aside to let me in. With his hand laying on the small of my back he guided me to his living room and poured me a glass of wine.
"Here" he offered
"To what should we toast?" I asked taking the glass extended to me with a graze of our fingers.
"To..us?" He offered the smirk still lingering on his inviting pink lips.
"To us" I replied and clicked my glass with his. I put the glass down after taking a sip and let my eyes wonder around the dimly lit room we were in.
"You have a beautiful home" I complimented looking around his well decorated living room in the soft lights. I heard the clink of his glass on the table before I felt his body behind me.
"Thank you. But I'm sure its not the most eye catching thing here" he whispered huskily
"I guess not" I replied coyly turning around. His beautiful blue orbs were shining bright with a hidden message. I was left breath less with them and his the lights defining his high cheekbones and cut steel jaw.
"Your the talk of the town you know. The handsome young man who just moved into town. Every single girl is looking to swoop you up" he whispered
"Maybe I'm jot looking to get swept up" I replied
"Everyone is looking to get swept up" he relied stepping closer
"Maybe... When the right person comes along" I answered and stepped away from him
"You didn't say girl..." He said
I turned towards him with my glass in my hand and my confusion clear on my face.
"You said when the right person comes along not the right girl " he clarified. I smirked over the top of my glass.
"I know"

"Magnus come join us"
Magnus quickly looked up from his phone and his eyes met with the dreamy blue of his neighbor's.
"Coming" magnus replied saved his work and got up.
" Magnus this is my brother jace and his fiancé Clary. Guys this is magnus his...um..." Alec trailed of not knowing how to explain what he was.
"I'm asmodious's son. Magnus bane. I'm here to fix up his house before I put it on the market" magnus explained
"So your like their temporary neighbor" the brother, jace asked.
"For now" Izzy interjected with that knowing smirk still playing on her lips. Magnus and Alec's eyes met and Alec looked away bashfully while magnus smirked. He likes Alec's shyness but the prospect of Alec being confident and mischievous was what was fulling his work.
"Alec can you get the plates from the kitchen" the blonds fiancé, Clary asked from where she was cooking their dinner.
"I'll help you" magnus quickly offered and followed him into the house.
"There not many I could have carried them alone" Alec said softly once inside the house.
"Oh Alexander I know" magnus said following him into the kitchen with a smirk.
