ENCORE! (Jack Barakat) CH3

"Mom, I'm here. What floor are you guys on?" I asked walking into the hospital.

"Fourth, Lexi will meet you by the elevator." She said

"Kay thanks, bye." I said hanging up and pressing the elevator button. I turned to Jack, "I really appreciate you doing this for me," I said

"No problem, I just hope they are all right." He said

We get in the elevator and I pressed the 4 button.

"But, I'm sure they both alright." Jack said hugging me and rubbed my back.

"Thanks."  

"You got it." He smiled, which made me smile. The elevator stops on the 4th floor and we step off. I looked around for Lexi; when I didn't see her I was about to just walk up to the front desk and just ask what room she's in when I heard,

"Linds," Lexi shouted

I looked over and I see Lexi walking down the hallway, I met her halfway.

"How are they?" I asked her as we walked towards her room

"Rose, can go home tonight, but Lilly had to stay a couple days. Oh! FYI Mom is pissed off at you." Lexi said

"What the hell did I do?" I asked

"I don't know, she's going on and on about how you two were in a fight and if something was to happen to Lilly; you would regret it. Also something about 'us sisters are supposed to stick together, and we are all what each other's got.'" She said then continued "Linds, who's this?"

"Lexi this is Jack, Jack this is my sister Lexi." I say and they exchanged 'hello's' 

"Wait, elevator Jack?" she asked and I know she did that on purpose.

"Told you." Jack smirked

"Haha." I smiled "And, yes." I said to Lexi

"Yeah I know who he is." She said

"You do?" I asked

"Yep, and I'm not telling.

"Thank you." Jack laughed

"Lindsay, where were you?" my mother asked

"I told you I would get here as soon as I could, so here I am." I said

"With?" she asked

"This is Jack, my uh, friend, he drove me here." I said

"Hello Jack, thank you for bringing her here." She said

"You're welcome." He said

"Lindsay, I'm very upset with you." My mom said to me

"I know."

"If something were to happen with your sister-"

"I know." I said not wanting to hear it from her right now.

"You ignored her for a year!"

"It wasn't a year mom."

"Well, you shouldn't treat her like that, she is your sister and you would have regretted-"

"Mom!" I said really not wanting to hear it now, especially in front of Jack, like how embarrassing is it to have your mom practically yell at you in front of someone who you kinda like.

"Well Lilly is in that room." My mom said pointing to the room in front of us.

"Okay." I walk in the room, closing the door behind me. I set my bag on the chair and walk up to the bed. I looked at her sleeping figure and hearing total silence except the ongoing beeping noise from the machine. Lilly had a few cuts and bruises all over her arms and she had bruises. I starred at her while I wiped away the tear that had fallen onto my cheek. I slowly sat on the bed next to her. Lilly's eyes opened and more tears came.
