We lived about a quarter mile from the center of town. Me and mama were never alone. We always had people coming and going. One day a man brought hi guitar.
"Hey dinners ready!" Mama called. Every room were filled with people.
"Forest, forest?" Mama called. The sound of one of Elvis Presley's songs playing.
"Forest! I told you not to bother this young man," mama scolded.
"Ma'am, it's alright"
"Alright then. If ya'l want some dinner it's ready."
Thank you ma'am," the man thanked mama as she walked out of the room.
