missing yOu

the sound of keys rustling on the other side of the door is the thing that makes renjun finally look up from what he was drawing. he hoped it was lucas. renjun grabbed his phone to look at what time it was. 1;27 AM, why was it so late? wasn't lucas supposed to finish earlier today? to be honest, renjun couldn't really remember anymore. he turned off the lamp that was shining brightly on his paper and pushed his glasses a little higher on his nose, they had been starting to slip off when he was looking down at his drawing.

"hey hey" a low voice greeted him when the door was finally opened.

"hi lucas" renjun said he had walked towards the door and they both were standing in the hallway right now. lucas smiled bright and bowed down to press a small kiss onto renjuns cheek. the sweet gesture still made renjun blush and tug on the sleeves of his big grey hoodie, or actually lucas hoodie but he had just... borrowed it. the younger had a habit of stealing the other his clothes when he was tired or just missing him and could you judge him? lucas his sweaters are so big, soft and made him look so small and also they smelled great.

"i see you found my wardrobe again" lucas said smiling while he was taking off his jacket and putting it on a hook. renjun just groaned and put on the hood of the sweater and pulled on the drawstrings. so the only thing lucas could see right now were his glasses, nose, a small part of his mouth and a few bleached blond locks of hair that peeked out. lucas laughed "well, you know that i don't mind. i think you look so cute in my sweaters" the older boy grinned and by the way he did it renjun could just tell he was going to say something cheesy or stupid or just both. "but i think you're always cute, even when you wear nothing" renjun sighed and looked down at the ground.

"you're annoying"

"i love you too rennie" renjun felt his ears go a little red and lucas sat down at the closed surface to untie his shoes. "isn't it already little boys bedtime tho?"

renjun softly kicked lucas his leg and the older boy let out a small ow sound "i couldn't sleep" lucas kicked his shoes somewhere in the corner of their small hallway, stood up and streched himself out.

"really, did you even try to fall asleep?"

renjun huffed and hid himself a little deeper inside lucas's hoodie. "no, i just wanted to see you before i fall asleep" the last part was whispered and bearly audible but lucas knew what he meant, he would never admit it but he really loved the fact that renjun would stay up for him even though it was bad for his sleeping pattern." lucas laughed and put down renjun his hood so he could see the boys pretty face fully.

"what's that? i couldn't quite grasp the last part" renjun sighed again and stared at lucas who looked at him with that stupid grin again.

lucas laughed. "it's okay, i missed you too"

"yeah, i missed you" renjun really did, lucas had been so busy with the promotions lately, he was gone early and back so late. he just really missed those simple moments where they could just relax and be together without any cameras or other members. he loved the other members dearly and cared about them with his full heart, but he also wanted some xuxi alone time and he didn't seem to get it often. "i like you so much stupid" he said before wrapping his arms around the older's waist and hugging him hard. his face was pressed in lucas his chest and lucas started petting his hair, his scent was intruding his nose and all renjun could think was lucas.

they stood there for a few minutes with the older just petting his hair and renjun finally felt calm. lucas made him feel so safe and warm and he could feel his eyelids becoming heavier and he couldn't stop himself from letting out a small yawn.

"awww is little rennie getting tired" renjun knew the older was mocking him but he couldn't get himself to care and resist nodding yes into lucas's chest.

"come on, let's go to our bed then"

lucas grabbed the younger's hand and dragged them towards their room. lucas swung open the door and flicked on the light, making renjun groan "why does it always have to be so bright" he nagged.

"shut up,  you shouldn't stay up that late waiting for me then," lucas said. "and by the way, i got to change i hope you don't expect me to sleep in this." he cocked an eyebrow at renjun and the younger only just noticed what he was wearing, no those tight jeans sure didn't look comfy.

"yeah, perhaps you should get changed" lucas laughed and tugged his neat shirt over his head before searching his white sleeping t-shirt. giving renjun a quite nice view of his top half. and he just hoped lucas wouldn't mind it too much if he just let his eyes linger for a few seconds (read here just plain stared).

"don't you need to change as well?" the older asked and renjun shook his head, he was wearing lucas his hoodie and leggings so he was comfy already.

"no, i don't really need to." lucas smiled at him and took off his trousers and changed into his grey sweatpants making renjun nod to himself, yes this man was an amazing deal and he absolutely loved everything about him.

by the time lucas was finally changed into his sleeping wear renjun had already climed into their bed and covered himself with their thick blankets.

"c'mon lucas, don't be so slow" renjun whined, making the older laugh.

"yes yes, i'm coming" lucas smacked out the light, lifted up the comforter and slipped in immediately hugging renjun close to him and giving him a quick kiss on his forehead.

"you make me so happy renjunnie"lucas whispered inside his ear. renjun could feel a big smile spread across his face and finally let his eyes fall closed.

"you make me very happy too xuxi, and do not tell anyone else. but i miss you a lot when you are away"

lucas hugged renjun just a little closer.

"i missed you too" but the words were lost in the air of their bedroom when he heard renjun's breath even out.
