~A Mission With Wolfhard~
Once those two activities were over, we decided to go to the cafeteria to grab what they call 'Morning Tea.'
Wyatt was really weird around Chosen after he helped him up. I have no idea why.
But then again, I felt really awkward about Chosen putting his hands on my hips.
I'm just glad I didn't have a frightening flashback...
It's been two weeks since that's happened. Wyatt and I are still not getting along but at least we're not screaming at each other.
He's just passive-aggressive with me, but two weeks have gone by and I'm glad not too much else has happened.
"Sister."
I look behind me, Gabrielle. She glances at me and sighs.
"What's the matter with you?" I ask.
"I don't think I want to tell you right now--it's not bad, we just don't talk you and I. But...now that our parents are out of the picture for now. I'm, kind of glad."
"Oh? I thought you were Momma and Daddy's little girl." I ask suspiciously. We're outside the cafeteria. Not too far. We get a couple of hours before lunch then the next activities.
"That's the thing!" Gabrielle basically spat in frustration and turns to me.
"I saw what happens when you didn't oblige! And I got scared."
"Hold up."
Is Gabrielle, my sister spoiled with riches and love, seriously telling me what I think she's telling me?
"It's all been a big act?"
"I feel so ashamed." She whimpers, clutching her arm. Holy shit.
"I wish we were in the same team, so we could have a chance to repair it. My Mom never said it to me but I've heard my friends Mom's say that you should always love and respect your siblings, even if they're annoying because you don't know when you could lose them."
She shows me her wristband. She's in Millie's team. Venus Fly Traps.
"What are you trying to say?" I ask her.
I'm not going to...lose Gabrielle, am I?
"I'm not dying. Or anything. But we've been so distanced that mom and dad don't have to hear me apologize to you." She explains. "But I'm scared of losing the only sister I had because she's been raised up so roughly and won't bother to talk it out."
"Gabby..." I sigh, putting a hand on each of her shoulders. "You have been cold and distant and sometimes mean to me. But if you're trying to make an effort. I'll give you a chance."
"Really?" She seems surprised. "Yes, of course."
My guard will still be up for a while in case it's another act, at least until I can trust her and learn her truth.
"You're a really good sister." She sighs with relief. "And when we get back home. I'll make an effort to help you too."
"And if that doesn't work?"
"You're an actress and I have my own fashion model website with my OWN merch. I do YouTube too, sometimes. We'll get an apartment, we're old enough."
"Wow. You'd really be willing to leave them?"
"I have to at some point. Our parents are only using us." She says sadly. "For now on, I'm on your side. I promise."
