The train stopped at the station of Avios. Avios is a large and upcoming city amongst the skies. It is also, the youngest of them. Originally a small town of a few thousand, it became a city when Avios elected their business leaders of all branches of economy. Food, Entertainment, Federal Protection, Construction, Transportation, and Maintenance, all jobs required by every man, woman, and child at some point in their life. They elected an expert in each business field, and these upstarts brought the town in to the biggest competing city amongst the others. Nexus-Winds was the previous top dog among them, and that is where me and my sister stayed before, with my father before he died in a mafia war. We left just a few days ago to come here, to Avios, to officially meet our boss.

When the train stopped at our destination, the entrance doors slid open. We stepped out quickly, nearly being shoved out by the other people who chose Avios as their new state of business and residence. I could hear the sound of drilling and hammers constructing several buildings in the city as we stepped out to the curb. Businessmen whistled and shouted out at the taxi service cabs as they followed others out of the bullet train, and we stood as my sister began to talk in to her earpiece. I decided to just stay by her side, watching the others walk out, talking on phones and talking to each other. Me and my sister stood out of the crowd between the others. I had a dark gray hood over my head, and my sister had a purple and green scarf along her neck. Everyone else was in suits or some other form of formal business attire. I felt almost every other pair of eyes come across the two of us as Sasha talked to the boss.
"Alright, we'll see you then." She said, finalizing the call and closing the channel between them. She looked over at me. "So here's the plan, Little brother. You're going to go and find our apartment. I'm going to find our boss and talk to him in person."  I nodded. I looked over at a terminal over by the wall of the station. As I aproached, the control pannel lit up with the holographic controls. I scrolled through the holograms untill I saw the panel titled, Apartments.
"Sasha?" I yelled out, "What's the apartment we should go for?"
"Three hundred and some." She yelled back. I nodded, looking through the apartments available and saw a three hundred twenty credit apartment.
"Found one, Sasha!" I yelled out. She went over to the terminal, and nodded, dragging the picture over to her All Purpose Device (APD), completing the transaction. A pixelated face projected from the hologram with words underneath it saying: "Thank you for your time".
"Go ahead and head to the apartment, little brother, i'll come pick you up to meet the boss after I meet him myself." She said, whistling for a taxi.
"You want to know what happened to Mom and Dad, don't you?" I asked, opening the door to the taxi backseat.
"It's on my list..." She said, taking a seat within the car. I sighed.
"Alright."

The apartment was a small little place with three rooms, one being the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. It had a dark brown set with some gray and silver slivers going through the carpet and wall paint. The broadcast was playing on the tele-wall (One part television, one part wall. Developed by an idiot with a charismatic selling pitch. It ended up in the residence of nearly everyone.) of the local news channel. In the upper right corner of the televising the charts of economic businesses and which businesses were doing the best this year currently. It was a great way to waste time. I flopped on the bed, flipping through the channels for some sort of entertainment. I would have to do so as my sis was talking to the boss. I sighed, finally flipping back to the news channel and seeing the trail of a mob boss and his gang being prosecuted in court for running an underground casino and loan sharking to keep it running. Their sentence by the end of it was exile in to the Overgrowth, which was a prettier and easier way of saying death. No one lives in the wilds, there's no people with experience for camping. The gangsters were shown being hugged by family members and friends, before being handcuffed, loaded on a shuttle(Floater-Class-390) and flew out into the wilderness bellow. It was then I got a call on my APD from my sister.
"Come on, brother, the Boss wants to meet you. There's a car waiting outside the apartment, and it will take you to us."
I looked out of the window to see a black car that beeped at me from the street.  I nodded and said
"Alright- tell him i'll be down in a minute or two," and closed off my end of the channel. I picked up a small duffle bag and threw it over my shoulder and stepped outside the apartment. I slid my APD across the panel on the door, hearing the clunk that signified that the door locked and turned to head downstairs.

I went outside to see the car parked alongside the curb. The person inside had tilted the windows, and, upon closer inspection, had spray painted it black. I heard a click come from inside the car as it unlocked. I guess that means get in. I pulled the door open, throwing the duffle bag inside and sat in the back seat. As soon as I closed the door, the car raced off down the street, taking a U-Turn a few seconds later.
"What the hell!?" I shouted at him. This guy was driving erratically, making sharp turns, and then through downtown Avios. Downtown Avios was scummy. Filled with shady activity and gun fire, it was... not a place I wanted to be long. The driver did not seem to agree, driving a little more slowly then he had before. We went to the very edge of the city, the Edge, and pushed me in to a shuttle, driving off afterwords.
"Sit down, kid." A voice commanded from the cockpit. I sat down and strapped myself to the seats within the shuttle. The shuttle took off in the same fashion as the car, going left towards a small island off to the side, where a church was placed.
"What the hell is going on- Why are you taking me to church?" I asked. The pilot stopped the shuttle at the edge of the island, unstrapping himself and pushing me on the island.
Right. It's Mafia business.
