Floyd's p.o.v.
After reporting information to the police about India's mom, the whole police team and I went to the location where India's mom said they would be. I knew India would be happy to see her mom again. But that was when eyebrows were raised, because when we arrived to the location her mom told us she was,it turned out no one was there. I didn't know what was going on,either it was a trick, or her father knew we were coming and left. I called India but there was no answer, the phone just kept ringing. I called again and it went straight to voicemail. Maybe she was asleep. I talked to the police about what happened and told them I would contact them later. I drove home to see if India and I could spend some time together, maybe watch a movie or play video games. When I arrived home I found my front door swung wide open. I pulled out my gun prepared just incase of anything. I walked in slowly. On the floor was drops of blood. I got scared praying it wasn't India's blood. I walked upstairs and saw that my room door had been knocked off of the hinges. Shoes clothes and pieces of a glass vase was everywhere. "India, India"! I screamed through the house knowing she wasn't there, but hoped. I fell on the bed weakly, not believing what happened. I cried and screamed and cried even more. I called 911 and they came in less than 20 minutes. Detectives also came and investigated everything including the blood. That night I slept feeling like I was out of my mind. I felt like I wanted to run but didn't know where I would run to.
