The Return Book Two in the Dark Start series

Chapter 6

We got to Brent's house and we walked inside. "Hey Joe there is this house that's like supposedly abandoned at the top of the hill, I was thinking you should know." "Well maybe that's where these things are coming from." I said and then looked at Brent.
"We should go check it out." He said and then Jack said "Hell no, we need rest." I nodded and then we all started heading to bed.
We woke up the next morning and got into the car and drove towards the house. Brent pulled into the houses driveway and I got out and ran up to the front door. I reached for the front door and grabbed the handle. I turned the door knob and the door pushed open with a cloud of dust.
I walked into towards the kitchen and saw a old lady standing with her back towards me, cutting at something. I looked at her shoulder and noticed a hole in her shoulder. Oh shit! I looked at the walls and saw a blood splatter and a bullet shell on the ground. I walked towards the old lady and she turned and looked at me with bloody teeth and silver eyes.
I stepped back and she said "Hello son." I shook my head and she pulled her hand out from behind her and I saw that on one finger all of her fingers were gone. I looked around and I heard a voice say Run child while you still can, he will make you part of his army. I looked up and saw the old lady run at me with a knife.
I ducked as she swung at my head and uppercut her and she fell to the ground. I took the knife and threw it down into her neck. She stopped moving and then the fridge started shaking. I pulled the knife out of her throat and watched as the fridge opened and a dog like thing ran at me and jumped up trying to bite my arm.
I moved to the side and then swung the knife at the thing. The knife cue part of the monsters shoulder and it whimpered and ran toward a window and jumped out of it. I looked at the old lady and she started shaking and then her mouth opened and a tentacle wrapped around me arm and pulled me towards her mouth. I sliced at it with my knife as the knife stuck in the tentacle.
     I repeatedly sliced at the tentacle until it got sliced in half and then I dropped the knife and fell back. I stood up and then my vision started blurring. I have you know! Damien said and I turned as he punched me in the chest and I went flying back and out of a window, onto my back in the yard.
     I stood up and Damien jumped through the window and I ran at him with a fist raised. I swung at his face, missed and then he kneed me in the stomach and pushed me to the ground. I heard something crack as I landed on the ground and then I stood up and saw glass under me. I turned my back to Damien and grabbed a sharp piece of glass and then turned and swung it at his face.
     He kept stepping back and then he grabbed my arm, I dropped the glass into my other hand and then stuck the shard of glass in his eye. He stepped back and screamed and then pulled the glass out and dropped it onto the ground. His eye healed and then he starred at my chest and snapped his fingers.
     I screamed as a searing pain went through my woke body, making me feel like I was being crushed and burnt at the same time. I fell to the ground and saw Brent and pull up to the curb of the yard and Jack pulled out his phone and dialed a number. My vision started blurring even more and I saw Damien standing over me and then disappear.
     You'll be lucky if you survive. I blinked and saw Jack standing over me screaming and shaking me. I then saw other people above me, lifting me up onto a stretcher and then bring me to a car and put me in it.
