"I figured you would be here." I heard a familiar voice say then sitting next to me. I looked over to see who it was.

"What do you want you, puta boca sucia? (Dirty mouthed whore)." I asked him.

"Flor del lirio (lily flower), I just want to talk." He told me.

"¿Por qué debería hablar con la polla que me engañó?(why should I talk to the dick who cheated on me?)" I asked.

"Lo creas o no, todavía me preocupo por ti.(Believe it or not I still care about you.)" He told me.

"Well, I'd rather be anywhere but home right now, so if you wanna talk, talk." I told him.

"Jade messaged me. She's been trying to get ahold of you for the past hour and filled me in on everything she knew that was going on." He told me. "She said I knew you better than her and figured I would know where to look for you."

"Do you regret it? Cheating on me?" I asked.

"Everyday." He told me. "You were the best thing in my life and I threw it away even if you are a Serpent by blood."

"How'd you find out?" I asked.

"You forget I have eyes and ears everywhere." He chuckled. "One of my dealers over heard it from two male serpents talking about it."

"Sweet Pea and Fangs?" I asked.

"How'd you know?" He asked.

"They were there when I found out." I shrugged.

"Why are you scared?" He asked.

"Sometimes I forget you can read me like a book but why should I tell you?" I asked him.

"Because I am one of the only people who knows how your brain works." He told me.

"Too bad, because I'm not going to tell you." I replied.

"Jade messaged me, worried about you. All of the Avengers, your best friend, and Deadpool are here, so excuse me for worrying." He told me.

"If you must know, I'm distancing myself." I sighed.

"Why?" He asked.

"The Ten Rings." I sighed. "They are coming after me."

"I know." He sighed and I looked at him.

"What?" I asked.
"They are the reason everything happened between us, Lily Flower." He told me.

"What the fuck, Malachai?"

"They told me to cheat on you. If I didn't they were going to kill my little sister in New York." He told me.

"What the actual fuck?" I said just in shock.

"It killed me to do that to you, it really did." He admitted.

"I get it, Mal. Family is important." I told him.

"Thank you for understanding." He sighed.

"But why come to see me when they are watching me 24/7?" I asked.

"Because I care." He answered, "And because I love you."

"Mal..." I sighed, "I can't. I actually can't right now. With everything going on right now I can't be in a relationship right now."

"Plus, I know Sweet Pea has a thing for you." He told me. "And I know you two slept together. Which leads me to believe you have a thing for him too. You really do have a type."
