The Words I Fight

A.N: that's the Christian Girl

As I walk in I already hear calling me names, they call me names none of which are my real name which is Haley-Margaret

As I try to walk to my locker some guy hold me up to my locker his name Chad Maser

"So how's it going bible thumper?"

I stay quiet like I always do

"Answer me!" He yells I flinch but yet I say no words

As he raises his fists that are about to collide with my body someone comes to my rescue

"Lay on hand on her and your dead!"

As I see who is helping me it comes to me like a ton of bricks his name

Ace Chance

The Bad Boy in the school as I see him leaning on the brick wall a cigarette in his mouth, his outfit screams bad boy black jacket,white t-shirt, jeans, combat boots

"Get out of this Chance!" Chad yells at Ace

As he turns to face me again he gets ripped off of me, pulled to the ground!

I see Ace and Chad on the floor but at the looks of it Ace is the only one fighting!

As fast as I can I run away for the craziness to my first period which is health

I go to my seat which is in the very back where I sit alone

I start paying attention to the teacher when the door opens

All that I can do is yell ARE YOU SERIOUS in my head!

What do you know Ace Chance walks in and to my surprise without any cuts or scratches!

I start getting nervous when I see him walking closer to my desk after giving the teacher a tardy pass

"Is someone sitting here?"

I stay quiet astonished he's asking to sit next to me but then my head goes straight to the thought that he is just sitting next to me because they're is almost no empty desks left

"Well can you speak!" He snaps at me

"Uh-uh yea!" I stuttered

I move my books and let him sit, as a minute went by I felt awkward and weird

"Thank you" I whispered to him unsure of whether he heard me or not

"Whatever" he silently snaps at me

Astonished I just turn away and get back to my paper

All I said was thank you! As I thought to myself

The bell rings as a sign for lunch, I head to my locker to get my packed lunch I hear people laughing and snickering behind me as they pass into the cafeteria , the hall was empty it was just me I head outside but collided with a body I fall down as I look up I see Chad which his face holds bruises and cuts

"I'm so so so soooo sorry!" I stuttered praying to God he won't bust my face in literally

"Watch out next time!" He growls at me, I question why he didn't hit me

Maybe he's scared Ace will do something again!

I get up and wipe off my jeans and head out the doors to my tree and sit down

"Thank you God for the food I am about to receive, let it nurture our bodies, I pray for the people who don't have food and they worship you God, In Gods name I pray, amen!" I apart my hands and take a bite out of my sandwich and take a sip from my Pepsi

"Why do you do that before you eat?" I hear a voice which makes me jump

I look up to see Ace with curiosity on his face

"I'm praying to God?" I say still surprised he's here

"Why?" He asks me still with the look of confusion in his eyes

"Because he blessed me with food?"

"Hm" he says with a little bit more understanding in his blue eyes

The bell rings which is for second period me and Ace go our separate ways!
