A/N: Before I start I'll show you my boss from Saints Row. Her name is Arissa Julius and her personality is a bit of a mix between the player character and a kind soul. Also, in this fic Matt is aged up to a legal age because he's 16 at the time of Saints Row the Third and so he is now 19-20 years old.
"There. She's gone for good this time." Killbane smirked as he turned to Matt who had been sitting at the table behind him.
"Who, Killbane?" The timid boy asked as he looked at the Luchador leader.
"The boss of the Third Street Saints!" He laughed and Matt felt his heart sink.
"Sh-she's dead?" The young man asked the large Luchador in front of him.
"Yes, finally. Thank god she's out of my hair. We can now take over Steelport for ourselves." Killbane said as he slapped Matt on the back. "I couldn't have done it without you, kid. You've got some real talent and without your skills and your Decker's I wouldn't have been able to kill the bitch that was pestering me for so long."
Matt forced a smile as he held in the tears threatening to spill from his eyes. He never wanted the boss of the saints to die. He loved her and met with her in secret so the two could be together. She was going to help him get away from Killbane whom Matt himself was too scared of to try and get away. Arissa was the love of his life and she was dead because of his contributions to Killbane and his Luchador's.
"Th-that's great, Killbane. Let me go out to get us stuff to celebrate." The young hacker said with a slight shake to his voice, his lower lip trembling at the thought of the times he spent together with his lover.
"Good idea, Matt. Go get the good shit and get plenty of women for me and my boys as well." Killbane said to him before Matt walked off in a rush.
He walked down the hall and into his room, silently shutting the door before punching it, his tears falling down his face as he silently sobbed at the loss of the one woman he ever loved.
"Fuck..." he muttered to himself as he gripped his arms. "She's gone. She's bloody gone and it's all my fault..."
He slid to the floor and sobbed into his hands, his phone ringing in his pocket. He picked it up without looking at the name.
"WHAT?!" He shouted in his sorrowful tone, his voice shaky and clearly showing that he was crying.
"Matty..?" An angelic voice carried through the phone causing the boys eyes to widen.
"A-Arissa..?" He muttered in his trembling voice. "Arissa is that really you..?"
The girl on the other end of the phone sighed and frowned.
"I'm sorry I didn't call sooner. Killbane probably told you I died, huh?" She asked as she walked down the hallway, Kinzie on her computer next to her keeping their call from being tapped or traced.
"Bloody hell..." Matt laughed through his tears that refused to stop. "Arissa you had me thinking you were gone. Fuck. I need to see you. Meet me in our usual spot?"
"Sure, Matty. Love you. See you soon." Arissa smiles as she hears him mumble an 'I love you, too' to her before she hung up.
"How long are you going to keep your relationship a secret?" Kinzie asked her boss.
"Until we can get the whole thing with the Luchador's and the Decker's taken care of." Arissa replies as she shrugs her jacket on.
"You do know Killbane will hurt Miller when he finds out you're alive." Kinzie said and the other woman stopped, adjusting her glasses as she gently ran her fingers through her red hair.
"He won't. I won't let him." Arissa said in a cold tone as she clenched her hands into fists. "I'll keep Matt safe and out of trouble with Killbane. I can't have him hurt."
"Well, be careful, okay?" Kinzie said and Arissa nods, smiling at the red head sitting on the floor in front of her.
"I will. Thank you, Kinzie." Arissa smiles as she leaves.

As Matt laid eyes on Arissa's form walking across the roof his was sitting on he jumped up and walked over to her, hugging her close, his hands gripping her jacket tightly. He buried his face in the crook of her neck and silently sobbed.
"I can't. I can't handle the thought of losing you..." Matt muttered through his sobs.
"Matt... Hey, I'm okay. I'm not going to die. Never." Arissa muttered and held him close, kissing his head. "Matt, I'm here. It's all okay."
"But what if one day you AREN'T here?! What the fuck will I do then?!" Matt shouted angrily as he backed away, tears coming to a stop as he held his head in his hands. "Arissa, I really love you, and I can't let you die. So please, be safe and keep yourself healthy."
"I will, Matt. I promise." Arissa moved his hands from his face and lifted his chin. "And I'll be with you every step of the way. If you ever need me just call me or come to me. My doors are always open for you."
She gently pressed her lips to his, their eyes closing as they embraced one another. Matt's gloved fingers ran themselves through his lovers red hair and he could feel her smile into the kiss. After a few moments they parted.
"Matt, come with me to the Saints. Please." Arissa pleaded as she gripped his arms. "Come stay with me in my bed. Fight with me. Be with me."
Matt thought about it. He looked into her violet eyes and his heart caught in his throat at the love and hope behind them. He couldn't say no. He couldn't reject her offer again. He smiled and touched her cheek, his thumb running over the bottom half of her scar that went from her forehead to her cheekbone.
"Okay. Let's go home." The British boy smiled as he kissed her once more, the two finally able to be with each other for real.
