LYOVA'S POV

The cold breeze danced around me as I maneuver around the crowd of people and greet them as I pass by them.

The cafeteria in this part of the campus is always crowded for reason unknown. They don't even buy the food here for pete's sake.

"Simba!" Shouted a guy with messy black hair with blond streaks at the end. He was wearing a white turtle neck and black pants in this windy weather for who knows why. His grayish black eyes met my silver ones as he wave his hands lightly in the air.

"Leo." I greeted back at him. At first glance it'll seem like one of us is looking at a mirror but you'll notice a slight difference in us as we grew up differently.

Leo, or Lyall, is my twin brother that I learned about at my 18th birthday when Dad decided that it was wise to invite Mom over as a birthday gift to me.

Mom, the parent Leo grew up with, and Dad, the parent that I grew up with, weren't on bad terms. They're actually friends. They didn't divorced, they just simply decided not to marry each other since both of were an accident that weren't suppose to happen.

We hit it off at the first time we saw each other. And for some reasons unknown, Mom never got pranked by either of us because she knows who's who (like the weirdo she is).

"What're you getting for lunch?" Leo asked as we enter the almost empty cafeteria.

"I'll just take whatever seems interesting." I answered as we lined up and took our food.

Upon sitting on a random free spot in the cafeteria, Leo asked me about the stupid little act I did at Physics this morning.

"So what happened with talking to your crush?" Leo asked as he took a bite of his lunch and continued doing so as I look at him dumb foundedly.

"What crush?" I asked him as I looked at him confusedly.

"You know, Aimant." Leo answered as he chew his food with a smirk as he looked at me straight in the eye as if he knows what I'm doing with my life more than me. Which is kind of true.

"She's not my crush." I answered shortly as I glare at him and took a bite of my lunch. "I'm just messing with her because she's Devin's girlfriend."

"Wasn't Devin dating Lisa?" Leo asked before taking a big gulp of his water. Why can't he choose to either eat, talk or drink separately and not at the same time?

I swallowed what I was chewing and answered, "Didn't he already broke up with Lisa? I always see him with Adams these days."

"Aelfric's coming." Leo whispered as he quickly finish his food and leaving me alone as he continue to chew his meal and took his water bottle away.

"Hey, Simba." Aelfric greeted as he took a seat close to me.

"Ael." I gave him a curt nod and finished up my food.

Staring at him as he sit there with his left arm and right elbow resting on the table with his cheek resting on his right hand, he looks pretty beaten up. He smiled at me as he wait for me to finish before saying anything so I took my time while chewing and drinking the last contents of my water bottle.
