When love takes its course...

Story:

I'm walking down the streets of this avenue that holds much of my most treasured memories. Paris. A lovely place. A place of solace. A place of love. A place of romance and couples wrapped in each other's arms talking and laughing at some joke only they would understand, stare into each other's eyes like there was a line of communication linking them together, kissing and hugging like it's their last time to do it.

I smiled. A bittersweet one. I placed my hands in the pocket of my trench coat. It's almost Christmas Eve. It's quite cold here but the place still appears marvelous even the Eiffel Tower. Christmas. A beautiful season full of love and happiness but maybe not for me.

I used to believe that stories may all have happy endings...

Or happy ever afters...

But then again, maybe not for me...

Maybe not all stories may have happy endings...

Maybe I have a happy never after...

I stopped by the bridge where we locked our promises and dreams...It's about eight in the evening and I still don't have any plans to go home just yet. I held on the railings and remembered what you told me here.

Flashback...

"I love you bunch, forever...I promise that I will never leave your side." you said that and I believed it at that point of my innocence.

"I love you too bunch, forever...This lock will make sure my promise will never escape and be broken." I smiled at you lovingly just as you did to me.
