Castiel didn't know when he had started feeling human emotions.
He was an angel of the Lord, he wasnt supposed to feel those annoying feelings in his chest. He wasnt supposed to feel the butterflies in his chest that made him trip and stutter over his words. Or the burning rage that left a sour taste in his mouth.
He wasnt supposed to feel those in general, but he did. It was annoying as hell, but he did.
He'd known something bad was going to happen from the moment Sam walked in announcing a new case. The feeling had rose like bile in his throat as they'd pulled out of the driveway unto the road. The spot was only half an hour away, so they didnt need a motel.
Dean and Sam sang the whole way. Well, more like Dean sang and Sam sulked because he didnt get the song he wanted. But they were in strangely good moods. Too bad they wouldn't last long.

Castiel knew he shouldn't.
Every bone in his body screamed at him to turn and run back, but he didn't. He wasnt as powerful as Gabe, and he was certainly never going to reach Chuck level, but this was something he had to do.
The demons screeched, their faces twisting in agonizing ways as they stumbled and crawled their way towards him. At the back of his mind, he could hear Dean screaming at him to get back in the Impala. But he ignored them.
The sound of arguing and screeching tyres filled his ears, and he knew Sam had drove him and a struggling Dean out of the cave. Good. That made his job easier. Finally, he looked up. The swarm of darkness was closer than ever now, and he took a deep breath. He was an angel. He wasn't supposed to feel scared.
But here, standing in front of them, eyes glowing and wings unfurled behind him, he was.
Castiel was fucking terrified.

6 years. Cas had been dead for six years now.
In the war torn environment known as earth, demons, angels and humans struggled for survival alike. Sure, it was handy to have an archangel and a slowly growing army on their side, but that didnt mean it wasnt hard.
Jack had been missing for years now. They had no idea what had happened to him. What they did know, however, was that they needed help.
The sky was always polluted, constant fires and not enough trees never giving the atmosphere a break. Everywhere you looked, all you could see where clouds.
And Dean was fucking tired of it.
Well that went well.
Super short, but I just wanted you guys to get the whole time sequence and stuff. Also, in case you hadn't noticed, theres a bit of swearing here so, you've been warned.
