The weather was harsh. It would be impossible for Harley's team to make it through.
"Who said it's impossible if I have magic?" Harley stated.
"Don't try to show off, stupid," Harith commented as he stares daggers at him. "I'm going to kill you for real if one of us dies."
"Yeah, sure. But I'm going to make sure that Lylia is the one who's going to lose her life," Harley replied.
Lylia felt hurt by that. She felt no importance in that group. No one would want to die but Harley wanted her to.
The genius mage noticed that his joke was taken seriously. Angela tried to read his expression but she cannot comprehend it.
"You do not have to read what he is thinking," said Dr. Baker on the bug that is installed inside Angela. "Simply follow him and update us where you are."
"Yes, father," Angela mumbled.
"No, I ain't saying sorry," Harley said in his mind.
He simply held Lylia's hand and held it tightly as a way of apologizing.
"Is something wrong Angela?" Lolita asked but the doll simply shook her head.
"Staying warm is an easy thing," Harley commented.
"Hey, you ain't suggesting we go skin to skin," Lolita stated.
Lylia suddenly blushed, making her face look like an overriped tomato.
"No, warmth is a simple spell," Harley replied and with just one swish of his wand, everyone felt the growing warmth.
"Now, let's go," he said as he took the lead.
"After this, we'll be out from this Enchanted Kingdom. I apologize, Harith, Nana," Harley thought as he tightens his grip on Lylia's hand.
The dark magician held his hand back as if assuring him that everything would be alright.
"I feel like I'm a burning human. The snow melts when I touch it," Lolita stated.
The wind grew stronger, making their pace even slower.
"This is an endless snow land. Do you know which right direction we're taking?" Harith asked.
"We'll just have to follow Gloom," Lylia replied. "He can show the right way."
"You're a dark magician, I do not really trust you," Nana honestly said which made Lylia grits her teeth in anger.
"That's fine," she stated calmly. "I'll earn your trust after this."
As they go further, there is someone who is currently watching them.
"What are those little kids doing in my lair?" she asked no one in particular.
"Words have spread in Magical City about a group of missing students which includes the first born male of the Vance household. They were also spotted at the ancient ruins of Egypt," said one of the ice queen's soldiers.
Queen Aurora, who rules over the snowy lands, stands up with a smile curved on her lips.
"My," she said excitedly, "They're brave teenagers to dare enter the Enchanted Forest. Might as well have some fun with them."
She left her throne room and went on her castle's balcony. She looked at the horizon where the adventurers are currently in.
"Two Leonins, one dark magician, one genius mage, a strong tank warrior and a strange being. An interesting group, but how long will you last in my kingdom?" Queen Aurora mumbled to herself.
In the Moniyan Empire...
"I'm sorry for the sudden visit, Princess Silvanna," Princess Odette apologized.
"It's a pleasure to have you here. Please follow me," Princess Silvanna replied.
Silvanna is the first born of the late Moniyan king and queen. It is said that she has a younger brother who was gone missing during his very first birthday.
"I have come to ask for your help. As the news had said, the Land of Dawn is now too dangerous. Lend us your hand to go against the dark forces and get the Land of Dawn back," Princess Odette straightforwardly asked.
Princess Silvanna looked down for she knew the person who is behind the invasion.
"I am willing to help under one condition," the princess responded.
"And what condition would that be?" a man's voice asked as his footsteps echoed throughout the hall.
Lancelot stepped forward and prepared to draw out his sword. The two royalties looked at the man in a suit.
"Mr. Ton?" Princess Odette stated.
"Why would the swan princess come and ask for help to a princess whose brother is the prince of the abyss? Aren't you just collaborating with the enemy?" Mr. Ton asked as he walks towards them and sat down on the empty seat.
"Be mindful of your distance," Lancelot warned the unwelcomed guest.
"Relax, Knight Lancelot," Mr. Ton said. "I mean no harm to the princesses. I just came to say that there is no need for the two of you to waste your time on this matter. I have a newly made squad that will surely end the abyssal invasion. Just lean back and just take your time drinking tea."
Mr. Ton stood up and fixed his coat and tie.
"I can solve this matter with the VENOM Squad," Mr. Ton added before leaving.
Princess Odette looked at Princess Silvana.
"Your brother is the abyssal prince?" she asked.
The princess looked down and nodded.
"I just got to know it recently," she replied. "I will help you in the war against the abyssal demons. I will help you win, just let me take care of Dyrroth. He has been taken away from the empire for so long but he is still my brother."
Princess Odette remained quiet for a while, trying to ponder over the situation and trying to weigh the consequences. Lancelot, her Knight, held her shoulder to give her assurance that whatever her decision is, he'll be there to support her.
The princess lets out a sigh before looking at Princess Silvanna. She smiled and nodded.
"Let's join forces and you shall take care of your brother," she agreed.
"Thank you so much," Silvanna said.
"I shall send my best troops to train here in your ground," Princess Odette said. "Please, do take care."
After their deal, Princess Odette and her Knight went back at the Swan Castle.
"Your Highness, we're glad you are back," Fanny came to greet.
"Kindly summon Tigreal, Alucard, Granger and Harith," she said.
"As you wish, Your Highness," Fanny responded before taking her leave.
