 LIZZY POV

______________

"Michael! I'm not going to see your boss!" I whisper urgently.

"Oh c'mon Lizzy." He laughed pulling me to the door.

Michael was forcing me to visit his boss, but I didn't plan on doing that.

His beautiful smile widen when he saw I was scared.

"You're so mean!" I say.

I start hitting him but he just keeps laughing. He picked me up on his shoulder and headed to the door. I pound on his back but he wouldn't let me down. Luckily I wasn't wearing a skirt but blue jeans.

He turns the corner walking away from the door. My glasses fell off my face.

"Michael, my glasses!" I laugh.

He turns around and picks them up. He puts them on my face.

"Where are we going?" I ask.

"Somewhere..." He answered me.

I roll my eyes.

"I'm calling the cops." I joke.

"Shut up lady and close your eyes." Michael played along.

"OH NO! HELP!" I giggle closing my eyes.

Michael puts me down and leads me to "somewhere."

"Have you ever really kidnapped anyone?" I ask.

"Yeah." He says quietly.

"Um, you graduated recently right?" Michael quickly said changing the subject.

"Yeah, and you're like 23 so you did a long time ago." I say.

"You're making me feel old." Michael sighed.

I smile, feeling pleased I got to him.

"We're here." Michael says.

I open my eyes and I see a huge building in front of me.

"Its... pretty." I say having no idea what he is trying to show me.

Michael rolled his eyes.

"Not the building, inside the building." He said.

"OH!" I say. I just realized this is where Michael lives.

"Michael this is so sudden, I'm not ready for this." I say,

"You're not ready for my boss, you're not ready for my apartment, you're not ready for the electric light bulb." He sighed.

"Okay, stop complaining." I sigh hitting him on the head lightly.

He smiles and heads for the lobby.

"So, my place might be a little messy." Michael said slowly to me.

"Okaaay." I reply slower.

He opened the door and I gasped when I walked inside. It was so little.

"It's not much but I live here." He said.

His place smelled like old people and candy. And it wasn't at all messy, everything was neat and organized and pretty nice for a small place.

"It's not bad." I say sitting on a chair by the table.

Michael put his fedora on the table and sat on the other side of the room on the couch. I smile. He really is shy.

I walk to the couch and I sit beside him smiling. He got stiff and sat there awkwardly.

"Don't be shy, bring it in." I laugh.

I lean myself on him and I pull my legs up on his small couch. He relaxed under my touch and I rubbed my nose in closer to his shirt. He smelled like a sweet scent that made my stomach flutter. I could hear Michael's heart beating at the speed of light. I'm not saying I wasn't nervous, I could barely even breathe.

Michael looked down at me with his soft brown eyes and I stared into them. It was pretty silent for a while as we just stared at each other. His eyes was full of hope and sadness, I felt it.

"Something bothering you?" I ask.

"Sort of, I just feel so alone, now that my dad is gone, even though he was never there for me. I just can't shake that feeling and..." Michael trailed off.

He hides his face in my chest and started to cry. I just patted his head telling him it was all right.

"I love you so much Elizabeth." Michael tells me after he finished crying, his eyes red.

"I love you too Michael." I said ignoring the fact he called me Elizabeth and not Lizzy.

He pressed his cheek on mine and we sort of just stayed like that for a while, his warm cheek heating my cold one.

When he calmed down he looked back at me and smiled.

"I have a few board games." He said.

"OoOo Do you have connect four? I'm a boss at it." I say.

"Yeah." He said.

"I'm going to go get it." He says getting up.

I decide to go with him. I get up and I grab his sleeve. We walk together with me holding his sleeve. He gets to a dark room and he looks at me wary.

"Can you stay out here while I get it?" He asked.

"Why?" I ask.

"My game room is kind of dirty." He said not making eye contact with me.

He was lying.

I stayed back when he opened the door. I heard a light turn on and then click off and he was out. He came back with the board game. This time, I held his hand while walking back to his living room.

He set the game on the table and a cloud of dust erupted out. I coughed.

"Do you ever use that?" I ask.

Michael blushed and shook his head.

I sighed as he set it up.

We played 3 games and I won all of them.

Michael hung his head in defeat and I stood up on the chair proudly.

"I WON!" I shout.

"Yeah yeah." Michael said jealous.

He came towards me and I kissed his forehead.

he picked me up and I almost had a hard attack.

"I HATE WHEN YOU PICK ME UP!" I whine.

"I hate when you win." Michel joked.

He put me on his neck and I sat on his shoulders.

"I AM THE QUEEN!" I laughed.

Michael put me down and I punched him in the arm.

"Don't touch me anymore." I say.

A mischievous smile spreads on his face.

"Oh no no no!" I say backing away.

He grabbed me and started to tickle me.

"MICHAEL STOP." I laugh. But he keeps tickling me.

After he stopped tickling me we were both out of breath and I was on the floor by now. Michael looked down at me. His face lowered down to mine and I felt his breath on my lips. Then he kissed me for the first time in the day. I kissed him back with passion. I started to sit up as he kissed me. Michael wrapped his hands around my waist as he kissed me and I was in heaven again. How was I ever to get over this man if he was gone?
