Twin Diamonds

The Diamonds were the mighty ruler of the Gem Homeworld, White, Blue, Yellow and the littlest diamond Pink. Together, they ruled over many galaxies and conquered many worlds until White Diamond decided to make another Diamond to add to their perfection, Black Diamond. But it went wrong and out came two Diamonds! The Diamonds were worried and confused, but tried to welcome their new Diamonds as much as possible. But, the Diamonds soon discovered their new Diamonds were half human! They were all hesitant at first but Pink persuaded the other Diamonds to keep the new Diamonds, since they had survived the first thousand years. But, the Diamonds were hidden and when brought into sight painted to look full gem.
Cardi POV
"I'm telling ya Ari, they're ashamed of us, I know they are!" I banged my fist onto the wall. "They're not ashamed of us-" Ari started. "Come on Ari. Hiding us until a ball or something! Painting us black and red when we go into the outside world! Stops talking as we enter the room! It's not fair! It's not our fault we're human!" I sat down on the bed grumbling into my hands. "Aw come on Cardi, it's not that ba-" Ari tried to flip my hair out of my face. "No!" I yelled, interrupting her dumbness. "Be quiet! Yellow put so many Topaz on patrol today!" Ari warned, putting her hand over my mouth. "Ugh, why today of all days?" I put my head down into the bed. "Well it's Pink's first time flying today and-" Ari started. "No! I didn't mean that, I meant today is my scream day!" I grumbled. "Oh, you mean that day where you scream about your problems?" Ari asked. "Yes the only special day of the week! And once again, Yellow's ruined it!" I started grumbling into the pillow, insulting Yellow. "Yeah but she did get super annoyed last time" Ari made a point. "Last time I had a lot of problems, and she's one of them" I crossed my legs. "My Diamonds, my Diamond has requested your presence outside" Pink's new Pearl said. "Yeah thanks Pearl, you got the paint?" I asked. "Yes my Diamond, here it is. Would you like me to apply it to you and Red Diamond?" Pearl asked. "Yep, that'd be great Pearl" I said as Ari and I sat down in front of Pearl. "I love your hair, where did you get it?" Ari asked, touching Pearl's hair, making her blush. "Ari, colour the pretty animal" I handed her an animal from Earth drawing and some colours. "Ooh! It's an Earth animal, I wonder which one" Ari started colouring. "Sorry about that, every since she saw human fake hair in shops the one time Blue brought us there she's been asking everyone that" I whispered to Pearl who giggled. "Hey, what do Earthlings call that animal? It's something funny right?" I asked as Pearl started painting my arms. "I believe it is called a cat, my Diamond" Pearl replied. "Thanks. Earth has always intrigued me, would you mind telling me more about it?" I fluttered my long eyelashes as she blushed and laughed. "Of course my Diamond. Earth relationships, they have classes for them. There is enemy, frenemy, disliked, stranger, friend, good friend, best friend, love interest, girlfriend boyfriend, fiancé, married and soulmate. Enemy, frenemy and disliked is classed as unfriendly with that person. Stranger is just unknown. Friend, good friend, best friends is when you are friendly with someone. Love interest, girlfriend, boyfriend, fiancé, married and soulmate are romantic relationships" Pearl explained. "They have weird rituals for the last one don't they?" I asked as Pearl blushed. "Yes. These actions could be such as hugging, embracing, holding hands, wrapping arms around each other and kissing" Pearl blushed a lot while saying it. "Wait, kissing? Isn't that the weird thing they do with their lips?" I asked. "Um..yes. I have seen many humans demonstrate" Pearl blushed. "I'm confused. Can you demonstrate?" I stopped as Pearl "kissed" me for about two minutes. "Oh I'm sorry! I'm supposed to be painting you, not demonstrating a human action! I'll get right back to work! You're almost done!" Pearl blushed red as she continued to paint, just as neatly but a little faster this time. "It's okay. I liked it, it felt good. I can see why humans would like doing it so much" I smiled. "All done my Diamonds!" Pearl announced. "Thanks Pearly, we can come with you now" I smiled. "Look Cardi! I made the Earth animal green! Haha!" Ari laughed. "Very nice Ari, now let's go" I pushed Ari out of the room, following Pearl. "My Diamonds, we have arrived" Pearl announced as we went outside. "Oh Red! Black! You're finally here! What took you so long?" Pink asked, hugging both of us. "Pink!" Blue hissed. "We got caught up painting our own flesh sorry" I made the flesh extra long so it annoyed Yellow. "I just coloured an Earth animal, look!" Ari held up her picture to Pink. "Excellent colouring Red!" Pink smiled. "Okay Ari, put the pretty colouring away so we can watch Pink fly her pretty dropship" I moved a swerving movement with my hands as Ari giggled and put the colouring away. "Wish me luck!" Pink said. "We'll be rooting for you, I'm sure" I crossed my arms. "Be safe!" Blue smiled at Pink. "Don't ruin another ship" Yellow said. "I'm not commanding another dropship to Homeworld for you, just to be destroyed again" White mumbled. Pink got in the dropship and started flying it. "I'm sure she'll be fine!" Blue reassured herself. "I appreciate your optimism" Yellow rolled her eyes as I felt Ari shiver in fear. "Don't worry Ari, Yellow just has such a dark soul that she can't see the goodness in anything" I glared at Yellow who struck me a death stare. "You better watch that mouth of yours otherwise you might find yourself in the punishment room again" Yellow said. "Oh no, you better shut up Cardi, I can't bare for us to be separated again" Ari said. "Let's just enjoy the fact it's been one minute and she hasn't crashed" White said optimistically. "Only a matter of time before-" Yellow mumbled as there was a crash. "Pink!" I yelled as Pink landed in front of us. "Are you alright?" Pink's Pearl asked. "I'm fine" Pink said, putting a thumbs up. "And it happened" Yellow rolled her eyes again. "Well, it was a good fifth try, I'll give you that" I crossed my arms. "Yeah, and do you guys like my Earth animal?" Ari held up her Earth animal again for the other Diamonds to look at. "You know what, if you stop showing everyone, I'll give you another one, okay?" I asked Ari. "Okay!" She said happily, putting the picture away. Blue tried picking me up but I did my "NO!" again and she put me down and picked Ari up instead. "Aren't you just the sweetest little Diamond ever?" Blue tickled under Ari's chin and Ari laughed. God, I loved it when she laughed.
Pink POV
Blue was hugging Red, and I felt a stroke of jealousy. I started being really cute and Blue put down Ari and picked me up. I smirked just a little as Blue made a big fuss of me. I felt afraid when Black was looking at me with the deadliest glare I had ever encountered. I knew she only had a soft spot for Red, so I couldn't blame her, but oh my stars, that glare was terrifying. I looked away uncomfortable and hugged Blue's giant face. "Okay cool, hugs but can me and Ari leave now?" Black asked. "Yes of course" White smiled as Black led Red away into their tower.
Cardi POV
Sometimes I couldn't stand Pink and her adorableness, it just triggers me how she sometimes uses it for attention. That night, Ari and I were sleeping (in the same bed because hers was broken) when I felt a hand on my hair and realised it was Ari's. It was shivering but I hugged her and she relaxed. I was only doing that because I was half asleep.
