Twin Diamonds

I carried out my duties as long as I could see her again. I called her every single week, just to see how she has been getting on.

"Ari!" I smiled at the Diamond communicator. "Cardi! You'll never guess what! Bismuth is building me a sword!" Ari said excitedly. "That's so cool Ari! But why?" I asked. "White said to Bismuth to teach me how to fight because normal Diamonds would but I'm not" Ari explained. "Oh. White is getting me a Pearl soon. She says she thinks I deserve one! Oh, and Pink's got a colony!" I smiled as Ari gasped. "I bet Pink was so excited about that!" Ari smiled. "Nope. She says it's so boring" I shrugged. "Oh, Bizzy said I gotta go" Ari waved and ended it. "She seems happy" Pink said from the darkness. "She is" I smiled at Pink. "Listen, I know I'll never replace Ari but I want us to be friends at least" Pink said. "Hm, you got yourself a deal partner" I held out my hand and she shook it. "So I heard you're getting a Pearl?" Pink asked. "Yep. Not sure how she's gonna top yours though" I said as we looked over at Pink's Pearl, who blushed and looked away. "Yeah, when Pearl isn't busy, she talks about you all the time" Pink smiled. "Oh really? Well I talk about her extremely with Arianna" I smiled. "Um Pink? Black? We need you" Blue put her head around the door. "K, come on Pink" I went into the Diamond meeting room with Pink and Blue. "There is something we have just found out that puts...someone's life in danger" White said. "Well?" I asked. "The Bismuth we sent Red to is a Crystal Gem" Yellow said ashamed. "Are you kidding me?! My Ari's life is in danger because of you! She could get shattered or worse, join the Crystal Gems!" I raged. "White will be speaking to the Bismuth as we speak" Blue said as White brought out her pad and called the Bismuth. "My Diamond, is everything alright?" Bismuth asked. "Ya think Bismuth?! Give my Ari back right now or else I'll-" White pulled me back. "Bismuth, we are aware you are a part of the Crystal Gems. Betray them and join us or face the consequences. Also we want Red back" White said as the Bismuth began to laugh. "I'd never betray the Crystal Gems. As for your precious Red, well look" Bismuth pointed the camera towards Ari, who was sword fighting. "I will fight them! They took me away from my sister! I will take them on!" Ari shouted while sword fighting a mannequin. "Don't expect to get her back anytime soon" Bismuth ended the call and I started to scream. I screamed even when they put me in the punishment room. I kept screaming until I fell into  a  sad sleep.
