"Happiness spreads just like negative energy." Smokey preached.
"I know man. People tell me that all the time. The energy that I got off Honey when I went to go see her just made me feel like a whole bunch of different feelings and emotions. I didn't know what was going on." ••• Honey stared at the pregnancy test while it stared right back at her. She could not believe that she was pregnant again, at the worse possible moment.
"Hell nah, I love you, little baby but hell nah." she shook her head thinking about aborting the baby.
She didn't want it to end up like Avery, so she was just following her first mind because everything that was going on around her just screamed stress. Her own mother just tried to kill her. She just wanted the baby to be gone before she even had to stress it to death. That was a pain she didn't want to feel again because she still suffered from it to this day.
Looking down at the test again she thought back on the time when she first found out that she was pregnant with Avery.
"I don't think that you pregnant. It ain't no way unless y'all condom was breaking." Carlie said as her and Honey walked out of Walmart.
Carlie's cousin, Shylyn had took them to get the pregnancy test. Shylyn herself was a young mother and she knew how tough that could be and just wanted to be the helping hand that no one was to her. While she helped them get the test, she had to steal hers because she had no one to go to when she messed around and got pregnant.
"We didn't use condoms all the time. He said that he would pull out and I believed him. I haven't gotten my period and it's been a long time. Carlie let's be for real, I'm pregnant." Honey sighed rubbing her head.
"Can I cut in real quick?" Shylyn asked and the girls nodded. "Don't believe in the pull out method, it's not 100 percent. So yes, you can be pregnant. I'm going to take y'all to my house and we gon' take these test. Don't worry so much." she said giving Honey a hopeful smile in which Honey smiled back.
When they got to Shylyn's house they immediately went to the bathroom and took the test. Shylyn and Carlie stayed in the bathroom with Honey while she waited on the timer to go off.
"Do you know your options?" Shylyn asked.
"Yes, and I only have one, abortion. I rather to kill it then my parents killing both of us." Honey said. It was true to her, Joel would literally kill her when they found out that she was pregnant.
"I understand, I thought that my parents where going to do the same, I think that you should talk to your baby father first because you did not make that baby on your own, that's definitely a two person job and I think that he should have a say so in if his child gets to live or not." Shylyn said and Honey nodded.
